Think its time to exercise my right to vote, been a member for over 6 years. Time to earn some stripes. This is a community driven site, if you don't like it get pro active, not offensive.
Anyone know where I can grab one of these in the UK? Or G700s?
Haven't posted in a while, but this game is fun. Turn on number damage, play around with modding weapons for cool effects, jump on a dune buggy and ride! Its not a typical MMO, its not a typical shooter, so due to its hybrid nature its getting a lot of flak. But I m enjoying it for what it is. 20 hours in and thats good for me as I jump from game to game like nobody's business.
I recently got an invite to this, and the community is harsh. Even admitting you are new to the game brings a torrent of harsh remarks.
I bought this up with a friend of mine who plays Dota and his reasoning was this:
The community is pretty much harsh, that's because it's a trail by fire. You jump in. If you don't learn, read, research and think about the game and tactics then your wont survive. This game is so player dependant that you need ...
I suffer from Schrödinger's cat-complex. This is where by not finishing a game, I leave it in an quantum flux. Where both the ideal and worst possible endings both exist. I am neither disappointed nor amazed, I am both as I have allowed a multitude of endings to co exist in one reality. Only by finishing the game will all alternative wave forms collapse into one absolute reality, and that could mean a shit ending.
Anyway this is something I tell myself, but reall...
I m in the same boat. Was really enjoying dues ex but my attention span is weak. RO2 beta has also grabbed me, now Dead Island. I didn't ask for this!!
Double post, my bad.
This is what it means to be men of the Watch.
When Winter comes I trust in my brothers! Hope the online component of this game is as good as demon souls.
That game always made me feel like people were around, even in the most darkest and dangerous dungeon, but without ruining the atmosphere or immersion.
While I have no concerns about this game, its important tor remember it wasn't just because demon souls was difficult. It was the balance, the combat system, the fear of losing your hard earned souls. This combination created a highly enjoyable, yet punishing game, any developer can crank up the difficulty, making the game dead and unplayable. It's this delicate blanace that is important. Cant wait for this game.
*Sharpens blade and looks at the storm clouds on ...
If you read this title as Duce ex you are wrong it is 'day-s' ex taken from the original Latin pronunciation.
Agreed. The game is just plain fun and throws in a few laughs to boot. I hope they keep regular updates coming and add to this great gem of a game.
Isn't this all connected to balance. When your life is in balance it leads to a happier existence. I love gaming as it stimulate parts of my brain and imagination. I love to read for the same reason. I enjoy my work as its rewarding, I love spending time with my girl. I love spending time with family and friends, I could go on. My point is as human beings we have many needs and to satisfy one while neglecting others can lead to an imbalance, which might lead to depression.

It's the nature of technology/software. Those of you defending corporate Sony, its like you are just renting your ps3's from them. Once bought the product is mine, if I want to tinker and tweak it, by god that's my given right.
Anyway the point is mute. Time for Sony to to get the R and D boys on to the PS4, and that people is progress.
After being away for several years from the pc scene, I just got myself a new rig and this steam sale was amazing.
I got enough games to get me through till the summer sales :). Some classics and some newbies. Considering my hard drive was void of games I loved everyday of the steam sales.
My problem is sticking to one game, one minute I m on metro 2033, then dragon age the mafia 2. Must maintain discipline... Otherwise it ruins immersion.
My collection is growing and at a fraction of the cost. STALKER, Witcher, Mafia 2, Dragon Age, Crysis, Serious Sam, Far cry 2 and Metro 2033 to name a few, kind of gutted I missed out on Amnesia. last day of sales tomrrow hope they saving something special for last.
New rig, new sales.. It's like the universe is conspirng to get my pc gaming on. The witcher for 3 quid was a steal. It's like Christmas continues everyday. Thank Steam :)
Ok its common sense that his death wasn't linked to gaming per se. When I was out in Korea I used to use these pc bangs, and can I say while you are playing you can order drinks, food, snack, fully air con. It's not like your out in the desert or somin. The ajoshi used to check on everyone. Just saying the places are a sweet set up but like anything are open to abuse.
I would be willing to pay to keep servers up, I can't imagine not getting my DS fix. I can't help but feel it's due to the spiritual successor which will be going multiplatform. Sony own the IP to Demon Souls, I think this move is to bring that fan base to the new game 'From Software' are producing. In my humble opinion.
I bought enslaved along with castlevania on release day. Enslaved disappointed me, I could forgive the one button play mechanics, and even limited combat but I was expecting an epic story with great charters and in all honesty it was 'meh' nowhere near as good as reviews and comments made out. Just in my opinion.
Anyway enslaved has been traded in while castelvania still gets a look in to do some challenges.
Writer obviously didn't get into the beta of FFXIV:Reborn.
