it maya appeal to core gamers the way chocolate ice cream appeals to core gamers
that doesn't mean it's core
no, it doesn't
they said that before, it's probably not going to happen until E3, which is not that far now
and Halo 3
he's probably right but that's in like 15 years from now at least
since thanks to Microsoft "exclusive" no longer means what it used to, I guess this will have to do
totally, I played it and this review is right on the money
it's funny how all these 360 fanboys keep saying that the 360 is just as powerful as the PS3
it's been almost 3 years since 360 had an exclusive (gears 2) that could compete for the best graphics of the year, since then it's the PS3 that has raised the grapchical bar time after time, first uncharted, then metal gear, killzone 2, uncharted 2, god of war 3, killzone 3, and the upcoming Uncharted 3, Last Guardian, etc
if the 360 can have PS3 leve...
maybe they should start worrying about creating games, rather than technologies
@mafia_pc
I own a Wii, PS3 and 360 and I have yet to see any 360 game that looks better than 2007's Uncharted 1, a few come close (Gears 2, Dead Space 2, Modern Warfare 2) but none surpasses it
and there's nothing on the 360 that even comes close to Killzone 2 or 3, God of War 3 or Uncharted 2
(and that includes Crysis 2)
well, the 360 is pretty much obsolete but the PS3 has a few years left in it
I guess MS will use Kinect to artificcially extend the 360 lifespan and then both companies will release a new console around 2014-2015
they forgot Agent from Rockstar and Horizon from Quantic Dream
I'm half way through the single player, I'll finish it later today
the graphics are bad, no doubt about it, the setting of the game is interesting (albeit stolen from Children of Men) but the story is crap, what really saves it is the level design, which shows some imagination
but yes, its just another middlebrow FPS, actually playing it makes you appreciate Killzone 3 even more, and not only the technical side but the story as well
o...
b b but but NPD said....
PS3 has ALWAYS outsold the 360
and in ten years from now, when the 360 is a distant past memory the PS3 will still be selling like the PS2 is selling now
(also these numbers are made up like everything on that site)
Demon's Souls is undoubtedly on the top five this generation along with Metal Gear Solid 4, Uncharted 2, Mass Effect 2 and Oblivion
@evrfighter
during 2006-2008 it was said:
-that PS3 had no games (during its first year it had: resistance, uncharted, siren, ratchet and clank future, wipeout, folklore, genji, haze, lair, heavenly sword, motorstorm, warhawk plus all the multiplats which seems a little more than what the 360 has this year)
-that had inferior graphics and was never going to have a game that will beat the first Gears technically
-that Sony was...
I bet that this guy was ripping on the PS3 in 2007 and now wants peace
if it wasn't for all the abuse, lies and unfair critism the PS3 received during its first couple of years there wouldn't be hardly any PS3 fanboys
but it's really a lot fun to see that all the lies that were said about the PS3 now have become truth, but on the 360 and for the people who were lying, it's beautiful and funny
when the PS3 was critized for having no games it had: Resistance, Warhawk, Siren, Uncharted, Heavenly Sword, Haze, Gen...
first they should do the Metal Gear and Final Fantasy Collections
then this and Jak and Daxter
because in 2007 they were trying to steal PS2's audience, now they're trying to steal Wii's audience
so 2007 ---> awesome core games
2011 ------> casual Kinect shovelware
it's that simple, and made even worse because Nintendo has a few great games for the Wii like the Mario Galaxy games, Metroid games, Zelda, etc
they forgot to steal the good stuff
is this the one with indian?
