After Metroid Prime 3, Super Mario Galaxy, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and Mario Kart Wii are all distant memories, the Wii better not become a casual gamer cesspool with craptastic innovations like Wii Fit. Make GAMES, Nintendo -- not TOYS!
I also find it disturbing that there are more titles I'd rather play on the Virtual Console right now than there are for the actual Wii!
Working at a game retailer myself, we do occasionally get some juicy details before the public, and although I've been very tempted to snap some pictures of some classified info with my camera phone, it's stuff like this that makes me think otherwise.
I played the heck out of that game.
I still think that the original Perfect Dark was an improvement in every way, but Goldeneye still has its charms.
We still have plenty of Cores at work. In fact, I don't think we've sold more than two 360's since the price drop.
This is no reason to start a flame war -- it's Blazing Angels 2, for pete's sake.
Must... buy... PSP....
Let's hope a victory overseas might mean an appeal here in the States!
I'm so tired about people complaining that the PS3 is too expensive. You got a price drop already, dammit! Yes, $500 is a good chunk of change, but get a part-time job and you can make that in a month! Or you can look at it this way:
PS3 (60GB) + Wi-Fi (Included) + HD player (Included) = $499.99
Xbox 360 Elite (120GB) + Wireless Adaptor ($99.99) + HD player ($179.99) = $729.99
Yes, PS3 is expensive, but it's a great VALUE. If you want one, suck it ...
...but I'm not paying money for some "bonus modes," even if it only ends up being six bucks.
The Atari version of Pac-man, not the arcade.
Does it make you want to finish the fight?
They hit the nail on the head: Warhawk may not be anything completely original or revolutionary, but darn is it fun!
A pretty skimpy list. I had a feeling those Heavenly Sword videos would show up. Expect all five of them to show up, one of each a week. I'd really like a Folklore demo, too.
I must say, that was pretty amazing.
Brings back some memories, too.
Guys, I'm pretty sure this is a promotional artbook only. If you look at the DVD included with the book, you can see it says "press disc." Retail store very commonly receive items like this for promotional purposes. I wouldn't go betting this comes with the retail version until we hear some official confirmation.
A little note on Lair controls: I've been watching some Lair gameplay videos lately and it suddenly dawned on me that in no videos do I see the dragons flying uncontrollably, nor do any of the videos show any signs that the player is having much trouble performing any sorts of maneuvers. So if this anonymous player is playing with ease... how exactly does EGM see this game as having cripplingly bad controls? Just a thought. Lair's still going to be a day-one purchase for me -- I'm dying to pl...
The whole PSone library would be fantastic, but a very daunting task. Nintendo's work with the Virtual Console is probably the best commercial software emulation service around, but it still has miles and miles to go. Sony just seems very laid-back about the PSN right now, but I'm sure things will heat up when Home hits... or at least, I hope so.
As far as adding less popular titles to the Classics library... I think they should focus on the big ones first. For example: I'd dow...
I'd be happy with just more classics! Where the hell are Resident Evil, Dino Crisis, Parasite Eve, and Fear Effect?
I think my computer screen just flickered....
The whole "not every console is connected 24/7" issue crossed my mind as well, but they could always start you in a private space instead of the Home Square.
I still hope they keep the XMB.
