It's called future-proofing. But I wouldn't expect the ordinary console gamer to understand that. They're used to selling the entire old console to play the new games.

Now that's a much better comment. Personally I wouldn't go as far to say they aren't focusing ongameplay because that creates a bad image for them. It seems like they have more of a focus on visuals.

You do release that you can u upgrade certain parts of your PC right? It ain't like consoles where when you upgrade, you have to buy an entirely new one from scratch.
