Okay, lets analyse this. He's saying in THESE days, he would be in the minority if he was buying it to call/text. This is correct to a significant degree. To prove the point, go to uni/school/work wherever you go and do a survey to see how many people have phones.

That's completely opinionated so you can't really make an argument with that. Also, having variety can be a good thing, as long as there is a balance. You don't want too many exclusives otherwise not all of them will sell well. You also don't want too little exclusives, otherwise you don't have much choice.

To be honest, free XBL doesn't seem like it's going to happen. If people are still paying to pay for online with an increasing population, I don't think they'll just stop.

Well at this point, Microsoft haven't announced anything yet (except their announcement date) so it would be the PS4. The only reason being that we only know what we're getting with the PS4 at this point in time.
