Lol. How many people play Call of Duty? Doesn't mean everyone likes it.

Oh. Look. 100k+ people playing WAW on PSN. I still think it's a crap game.

It's pure speculation. No inside sources, just guessing games.

So, you want goofy Nintendo wannabe avatars that kinda look like you as a representation in games? And, no. This is not the next big thing to happen in games.

Nothing lost here. Home still has it's Guitar Hero space.

Uncharted wasn't bundled until a year after it was released, and it was only in NA . Don't see your logic. Are you saying that 2.5mil bought $499.99 PS3s for Uncharted? You also forget that Uncharted was a Greatest Hits in EU since last year. Which pushed it onto a lot of new consumers.

Real gamers or not, this is still a PS3 article and this conversation is off topic. Maybe you should make a forum post next time.

The characters and nuclear themes were great, but the plot wasn't so much.

Still a good movie. Just not really memorable.

blu-ray died along time ago. This news is ridiculous.

They aren't doing New Vegas. Obsidian is. Bethesda is working on the PS3 versions of the DLC, and The Elder Scrolls V.

:)

Gotta be the great production value.

blu-ray is doomed

The reductions for the new PS3s outfitted with the cheaper components are most likely not done being put together yet. Sony still sells older generation PS3s with more expensive components at a loss. This reduction is likely comprised of cheaper blu-ray diodes and the 45nm Cell.

Sorry, but you don't know how much reduction Sony has implemented or about their profit margins for the PS3.

"If it wasnt thanks to the PS2 the PS3 would have gone the way of the dreamcast by now, its fanbase is quite powerful just not strong enough"

Lol. You're getting juvenile in your posts. If it wasn't for the PS2 the PS3 wouldn't be priced so high. If it wasn't for the PS2 the 360 wouldn't have games to steal. If it wasn't for the PS2 the xbox wouldn't exist. If it wasn't for the PS2... blah blah blah

Wasn't the PS3 outselling the 360 by a million + last year through three quaters at a higher price? Says a lot actually. The 360 is just not a worldwide console that has appeal in all of the biggest markets.

I say that because it says double the amount from the last quarter, and July to October are the slow months leading up to the holidays. In a sense, third quarter would be just like the 1st and 2nd quarters, and those haven't been too kind to Sony.

I think that there may be more technical hurdles to jump over for all those features to be implemented into a game. Sony didn't really build the PS3 around these features.

I for one am looking forward to the planned Home avatar integration into the PSN. It'll be great for Home and PSN to your have your gamer pic as your Home avatar.

ala, 360 avatars.

Wow. One million consoles prepared for quarter 3? Which would be from July 1st to Oct 1st.

Looks like Sony might be planning some aggressive price cutting.

It does look kinda of silly. I don't think controller- less gaming is the future as the media would lead you to believe. For casual or core experiences...

Wow. You're asking for it.
