There is a way to get the Japanese audio track. Importing.
The first game, Unchained Blades, just came out in the west, and this is the sequel, UnchainBlades Exxiv.
Gotta buy 'em all.
The beta will last until the game is released sometime this summer, so you've got quite a bit of time to try it out. All you need to do is make a Japanese account on Sega's website and then download the client.
This page compiles all of the guides you might ever want when accessing the beta: http://bumped.org/psublog/p...
Loving the beta. I start nostalgia trippin' from the familiar sound clips and soundtrack. So glad the Mags are back.
If the series is such a "nostalgia trip," why would they include
"characters like Sonic and Snake into something so representative of Nintendo" when they clearly aren't?
Where are your sources claiming that it was "hard" for them to put those characters into the game? Hell, Sonic's popularity in the polls had a large impact on his inclusion, which shows they would rather listen to fans than monopolize their roster.
Including Tales characters would primarily serve to service Tales fans first, existing SSB fans second. And Yuri ranks as the most popular character in the entire franchise, standing head and shoulders above Lloyd in the polls. That, coupled with his inclusion in the Nintendo 3DS title I've already brought up twice, provides sensibility to his potential as, at the very least, a candidate for the game's roster. If you would still like to argue that there is "no" sense in that...
Oh I'd love to hear you explain why a character on a 3DS title makes "no sense at all" to be included on a list of potential characters for another 3DS title?
Remind me, how awesome was Enslaved on the Wii? Because I'll bet my bottom dollar that it won't be as impressive as Project X Zone.
List is sorely missing Yuri. Also Klonoa would be brilliant.
Yuri playable. Do it. Do it right now. I'll fight you. I don't even care.
They'll probably do what they did with Generations and cover material that is currently manga-only but will be adapted into the anime by the time the game reaches its release date in 2013.
Missed out on Generations so I'd be down for a full-on sequel to UNS2. Wonder where they can take this franchise next.
The guy behind the English patch? He goes by the handle agrajag.
While an English version hasn't been announced, it's highly unlikely there won't be an English version of PSO2.
We already know SoA is working on something, the game has English credits which were hidden and then removed in a patch.
At the moment, you can still get into the open beta, and I'm 99% sure the guys who put out the English patch will tweak it for the updated client.
Yeah well it plays like a dream.
The demo's up on the Japanese PSN (and Xbox marketplace I believe).
Couldn't really see Sega scrapping a game that had already been fully localized, but I'm still really glad to hear that it's coming. The demo is fantastic and solidified my purchase.
Language barrier or not, I'm getting into this beta! Hope the client is easy to get a hold of.
It's... glorious!
