not enough people got hooked on BestBuy. they decided to stick with walmart or gamestop since bestbuy hardly ever did midnight release. those 2k sports people,cod,bf, destiny want their games on release date. when your competitor stops giving a discount why should you continue to give a discount? they were mostly just matching bestbuy
gamers can take the blame on this. majority of them relied on GameStop for way too long until they got fed up and went with Amazon. amazon was being kept in check by BestBuy Gamersclub but not many gamers saw how much of a better value it was over GameStop or Amazon. BestBuy got rid of their program so Amazon didn't feel the need to give you a discount.
Yet ps4 has a small pool of players for titanfall 2 equal to that of pc. 80 million users and you can’t hardly get more than 5k on weekends. Now your response will probably be well the game sucks. In the contrary it’s the best shooter of this gen only knock on it it’s not easy to get into you have to be willing to get punished before you learn to get better.
sales would indicate otherwise. then again nobody ever bought a PlayStation for FPS. do they lack a killer AAA FPS? yes. do ps players care? No. back when xbox live and playing online was sorta new yes Fps were big they were the main attraction to consoles. the 360 was loaded with them, this is something helped people buy into live great FPS games. sony doesn't bother to make AAA FPS when they know the majority of their demographic isnt the hardcore Bro FPS, those guys stayed with xbox....

@Sunny_D you must be like under 18. but here's the list of games along with halo 3 that were exclusive to consoles. bioshock, lost odyssey, mass effect,blue dragon, Gotham racing 4, crackdown, forza motorsport 2. not to mention this was the year mw4 was out and assassins creed so the games where there wtf are you talking about?

Right but take a game per example lets say titanfall 2. Which has a small community on ps4 on average you get 4000-5000 players at peak hours after that it goes down to 2000. Pc has just about same number of players. Xbox has about 5000-7000 peak hours after that back down to 2000-3000. Now if we could all play against each other we could combine numbers more players to go around. It would make pvp games even more exciting as it wouldn't be team a vs b but instead console vs console or pc...

Some of you ps guys are over reacting. The xbox camp has been able to play all EA games one whole week ahead of you since the EA access deal. So unless theres some extra content theres no real reason to throw money at marketing rights for a game xbox players know they get firsthands on and first hands on new dlc.
