damn. They need to make another Metal Gear game for PSP though, and this time use the camera angle and similar controls to MGS1. It would help out with the controls/camera problem present in MGS: PO (even though it was still a great game. 9/10 IMO)
This is a problem on PSN too, but not nearly as much. In all my experience on PSN I've only run into it twice.
I think part of the reason is, yes, more older people buy PS3 due to the price, and also, there's no headset included. And I think it's less likely for a parent to buy their child a headset so they can talk to strangers than it is for and adult/older teen to buy themselves a headset.
ya I agree. IGN and GameInformer have always been the most in accordance to my thoughts about games. 1up actually isn't too far off most of the time either.
I called to and got the same reaction, but not as rude as that. the guy I called just said "*sigh* No, we aren't. The store opens at 10 in the morning and you can pick it up then or later."
He sounded like it wasn't the first call he'd gotten. My Gamestop actually has 2 Sony fans and only one MS fan though, and none of them are very biased at all and usually are pretty helpful.
Wii Sports is the biggest system seller these days. :(
I have a DS and PSP. I like 'em both, but I prefer the PSP.
The DS feels kinda like it came out too soon. The touch screen has brought some pretty innovative games, but it often messes up a bit, and don't even get me started on the half-@$$ed mic on that thing. I find that my favorite games for DS (and Wii actually) are the ones that just use traditional controls.

Well, the thing is Sony still has more games I want. Mainly MGS4 and FFXIII. Those 2 games alone are what I want more than anything on Xbox. Plus Ratchet and Clank and all of Naughty Dog's games are great bonuses.
Up to this point I've been able to convince myself to just wait for Final Fantasy. I'm sure It'll be worth it, but Tales of Vesperia is about to push me over the edge. I'm gonna wait six months though to see if they announce ToV for a US PS3 release. If they do...

honestly, I'm PO'd too. I've always been a Sony supporter, Playstation was my first system, and I've loved it. I've loved my PS3 so far too, but I REALLY REALLY want some damn RPGs!!! And M$ keeps fing buying them! I'm this close to buying a 360 Arcade just to play Tales of Vesperia and a few of their other RPGs because it's getting so fing rediculus.
Sony better wow all of us big time at E3 next month. In the meantime, I'll be enjoying the best game ever, MGS4!!

The PS3 isn't being held back in Japan in comparison to the 360, but there is a HUGE gap between PS3 and the Wii/DS/PSP.
I give MS credit for trying in Japan, but I don't think their main goal is gaining the Japaneese market, it's holding the PS3 back in the Japaneese market, and that's exactly what they're doing.
They've thrown more money at these Japaneese developers than I can imagine for all these exclusive/timed-exclusive RPGs, and while it hasn't helped them much (or at all really) it certainly has been holding the PS3 back in Japan a LOT.
awesome. MGS4 got a 10 and Secret Agent Clank an 8.5. Bit disappointed in Lego Indy. I might still rent it with a friend cuz I loved Lego Star Wars.
IMO, a 2nd DS3 should be in "worthwhile extras" and Ratchet should be in "Must Haves"
Ratchet and Clank Future is so far (till June 12) my favorite PS3 game. Uncharted is a very close 2nd, and they would be exactly even if it weren't for the fact that I got more time out of Ratchet, what with getting all the guns/upgrading them and finding all the skill points.
