Just got this in the mail yesterday. Charged it up and gave it a try. I have to say, it's very good. I played Final Fantasy 7 remake on it and it felt like you're using the dualsense. Im an avid Destiny 2 player and we all know how shooters on a handheld can feel clunky at times but this thing works great while playing Destiny 2. The only issue i had while playing destiny 2, its hard to see enemies that are far away. Planning to use it during the holidays when im on vacation,. Will le...
Tried it on GP for about 2 weeks. After that, i realized No Man Sky is much better.
How is this different than playing an RPG game on the Nintendo switch?
Since the PS3 days, people been asking for remote play of their console. This is Sony's answer to them. A device that is dedicated to remote play but with the added benefit of using an actual console controller.
They keep this up, they will be forced to sell.
These are not "deals". These are highway robbery. Games from 6 years ago are "on sale" for $40??
Bungie spending money left and right. They just spend billions on a new facility. So youre right, management and decision making at Bungie needs to be looked at.
Sony owns Bungie, however, when Sony bought bungie. The agreement was that Bungie will operates as its own entity. This means that the majority of the decisions making will come from Bungie themselves. This is the main reason why Bungie games will remain multiplatform.
@foxtrot
I think you're spot on. This is why over the past few years, Bungie added an easier way for new players to jump right in. However, with any live service game, it charge you to use those incentives.
@Dandizzle
Destiny 2 will be played for many more years, however their player count will never be the same again. I believe that Lightfall was the turning point and now the news of layoffs is the straw that broke the camel's back,
Bungie is a public traded company. They have to answer to investors. The fact that they missed their projections by 45%, they needed to make cuts from somewhere to account for those numbers. In a lot of videos ive seen, a lot of people seems to not know the difference between being fired and laid off.
Ladies and Gentlmen he have returned. But let me clarify something for our beloved Obscure_Observer since he's been gone for so long.
"This video is a hard punch in the face of all Series S haters and lazy developers!"
This game proved that the developers for the Series S have been lazy. So the Series S is capable of these performance, but the developers were too lazy or too incompetent to tap into its potentials.
"The most dem...
What does the price of the game have to do with how the game is played, performed?
The PS3 would like to have a word with you.
They removed everythign that was great about the launched PS3 and still charged people the same price.
Inflation is a real thing.
things cost more and the advance in efficiency have become better now compared to 5 years ago. They now have the technology and advancement to cram the same power into smaller spaces
Unlike the Kardashians, as the year goes on, they need to fit bigger things in to fulfill the gap that was left from previously.
This is explains why they can release a new Forza so soon. Gran Turismo takes 7+ years.
You know whats crazy?
Games are becoming more realistic where they are using real actors to capture the realism. However, movies are going the opposite direction. They are using CGI to replace actors.
I think this is good for the franchise. We need more people playing these games.
This looks like a No Man Sky situation. Dont get me wrong, Starfield is a lot better than what was given to us with NMS when it was released. However, i feel like Starfield might be in the same boat in terms of seeing its full potential with future updates.
@Eonjay
I received mine yesterday and i was able to play Final Fantasy 7 remake and Destiny 2 on it. It worked great for both games. Playing shooters still feels different but its 10x better than on the Vita or using your phone with the backbone attachment.
