They're not going to change their policy anytime soon, because being unable to play with friends outside of your region only affects a small percentage of Ninty's customers. I hate to say it, but that simply is the truth.
I know that feeling all too well. I wanted to pick up Super Mario World 2 a while ago and it eventually cost me 50 bucks. Not that bad in the end, but still a hefty price.
There is a difference between not being willing to learn and forcing the user to work with an interface that simply isn't suited for desktops. Despite not upgrading to Windows 8 myself I actually did like a lot of things about the OS.
I could've modded it to the point where it becomes very similar to my Windows 7 experience. However, I just don't want to put that much effort into it just so I can get close to the operating system I'm used to. It means that eve...
He be trippin'.
I'm terribly sorry. I couldn't resist.
I think it'll do very well in all regions. The fact that they're including the first Bayonetta for free is just... insane.
Diablo II wasn't exactly a great game at launch either, but for some reason a lot of people don't remember this. When LoD came out it improved Diablo II immensely, so over time it became the excellent title we know and love today.
I dare say we're close to hitting that same point with Diablo III. The loot system is great, the end game is challenging and rewarding (IMO at least) and with the seasonal content, on PC that is, coming out there's plenty more to loo...
This is great news, but I personally couldn't care less about the game. It seems so bland and uninspired. The only reason people are hyped for this, in my opinion at least, is because Bungie's developing it.
Or is that just me?
There is one instance of Valve being (overly) harsh to a developer and now they're the devils themselves?
Interesting how quickly something can escalate in your eyes. If you break the rules you will be punished. It's as simple as that.
If I were to go over the speed limit to prove to a cop that his detector isn't working I'd still be punished. Yeah, I'd get my point across, but I did something that was wrong.
I would kill for a Super Mario Galaxy 3. Imagine a first-person perspective on the game pad and controlling Mario whilst flying with it. Just a random thought.
This means NOTHING. PC was the lead platform for Far Cry 3 and Watch Dogs, yet they both ended up being downgraded. Far Cry 4 looks fun in terms of story and most likely gameplay, but I'm not falling for this bait and switch tactic again.
To be fair, most people who own a Wii U tend to use it as a secondary platform. So I'm guessing a lot of them will already have played the game.
I played it at launch for two days straight at a buddy's place. We had so much fun. It has re-ignited my interest in the Wii U and if this E3 has plenty of announcements I will be picking up the console + Mario Kart 8 before July 31st to obtain a free game through that special offer Club Nintendo is currently running.
In the same way I was also motivated to pick up a 3DS at Christmas last year, thanks to the Super Mario 3D Land offer.
The blue shells are still frustrating, but they are far less common than they used to be. Also, the introduction of coins and the "8" powerup allows for a great balance. If you're far ahead your objective is to get through the track without making any mistakes, hence the coins. If you're behind you can easily make a comeback if you use the powerups to your advantage. Loving this game.
"fails to drive the series forward with meaningful change"
The average of 89 on Metacritic seems to state something else. Looking for views?
If you still think bashing on the Wii U is cool, you got problems.
Evolve and Killing Floor 2 this year.
Don't stop me now.
Does the collector's edition come with nudies?
MW3 and Ghosts both didn't 'feel' right to me when I saw the first trailers and my suspicions were confirmed. I'm not hating here, but that's just how I felt. I didn't have that feeling with Treyarch's games and so far they've all been fun, especially Black Ops II.
We'll see what Sledgehammer Games can offer. For the first time we're getting a truly fresh take on the series and I'm always open to that.
We don't expect anyone to do what we want them to, no, we just want to have a good time. Asshats sitting in random corners waiting for one kill simply ruins the game.
Though the idea of an HD remake sounds enticing, I don't think it'll ever recapture that magical atmosphere. There's just something so special about the graphics and pre-rendered visuals of that era in gaming.
