I tend to agree with frag there.
I think the new SR game is going to be fun and a lotta laughs but that new GTA game... That's gonna be tough for anything to beat.

If you honestly think that the minds that came up with the DRM/Used Game/Always Online stepped back and said 'We were wrong' then you're kidding yourself. I assure you all they did with this backlash is step back and look for a way to do it incrementally rather than all at once.
Why in the hell would you trust people who would come up with such an idea in the first place?
So basically after running their mouths about the power of cloud and the various other nonsensical things concerning how things could 'only' be done with the XB1 we're now getting around to power is meaningless.
It took them nearly 6 months to bother to fix something as mundane as power that wasn't upgrading properly... IE, the level 3 version did precisely the thing as the level 1 version.
And they knew about it in beta.
This was enough of a sign for me to walk away from that game company forever.

The fact that they even thought of these things in the first place should tell you to stay the hell away from the XB1 no matter what happens at this point.

Aside from just liking RPGs I tend to feel like they are the only things worth my money now.
As great as the latest 'action adventure' game may be there's little chance I'm going to be playing it for 50+ hours like an RPG.
Depending on what numbers you want to go with the 360 either finished barely ahead of or just slightly behind the PS3 this generation.
This is in spite of the fact that they had a years head start and Sony completely blundered the PS3 launch giving the 360 at least another year to capitalize on it.
If the 360 couldn't blow out the PS3 given all of that do you REALLY think the One is going to do it with the PS4?
If they had something to brag about they would do it...

That's what will happen by the way. Either the PS4 dominates in the fashion of the PS2 or the XB1 drags down the whole gaming industry to the point of death.

There's no way we'll see a Street Fighter, King of Fighters, Tekken, Dead or Alive, or Guilty Gear-esque game on a PS4. Never happen...
Given unlimited resources I have to admit that this would indeed be the last console I'd ever buy...
