I agree KZ3 was a letdown compared to KZ2. The change in controls with the lightening of environments and visual changes just made it lose that ominous, intimidating feel KZ2 had. KZ3 was just too bright and pretty. It wasn't gritty anymore. The story was also worse. I missed Visari and Radec and the overall flow the second had. KZ3 just wasn't as engaging.
Agreed. Mercenaries 2 was certainly ugly but just like the 1st game there was plenty of destruction to be had.
Thank you for the info Stoney. That's good to know and I'll have to check it out whenever I do get a new PC and pick up some PC games at low prices.
I don't want an MMO. Make it a single player game with a huge universe to explore and tons of missions/things to do.
I disagree. I have a PC with a P4, 8500GT-512MB, and 1 GB of RAM running Windows XP SP1. My PS3 has much better graphics. But my PC does check e-mails, pay bills online, and run Rome Total War so I'm good to go. My PS3 also lets me use a DS3 and my PC does not so I will still prefer to game on my console and do not wish to spend the money on a new computer just for "graphics" :P
^^ But blowing stuff up in Just Cause 2 was always enjoyable. The explosions in that game were really well done with visible shock waves propogating. You're right though debris makes a huge difference. Try playing Force Unleashed games and see how quickly all the stuff disappears.

This game does look amazing. Too bad it's PC only and especially that it's an RPG. Please give a character-progressive, open-world Star Wars game with fully-integrated DMM and simulation-based gameplay. Maybe on PS4.
I can see Skyrim winning but honestly I prefer Uncharted 3's soundtrack. I can listen to the soundtracks from all 3 Uncharted games any time because they are so good. Heavy Rain and Warhawk both have great soundtracks as well.
I though R&C All-4-one was a bit weak especially making it a 4-player co-op game. Fortunately, Insomniac's full titles of Tools of Destruction and A Crack in Time along with their track record leads me to believe they will do better in the future.
I don't even know why From Dust was on there. That game was beautiful and I had absolutely ZERO pathfinding issues so I don't know how others could have. It shows you the peoples' path so make sure nothing mess...
I agree that I would like to see more realistic environments and physics. Battlefield BC 1 & 2, Battlefield 3, Red Faction: Guerrilla, and Force Unleashed 1 & 2 are all steps in the right direction but realistic physics and environmental effects need to be explored further. I want a fully-DMM-integrated game.
I would prefer physical media any day. I'm ok downloading low-budget PSN games but for full-fledged games I want a hard copy.
I imagine the PS4 will play PS1 and PS3 games but I don't think it will play PS2 games. I don't think they will go through the trouble of including PS2 hardware and emulation is not that reliable.
As this gen has moved on, I've stopped using BC altogether. I used it for the first few years but now I only play PS3 games so when PS4 comes out I don't think I will care for PS2 games at all.
If I'm not mistaken, Just Cause 2 also has in-game recording. It would be nice if it was standard in all games for the PS4.

Nicely said coolbeans. I've never understood the hate directed at the prequels with the only argument I've heard to justify it is "Darth Vader is a whiny, little kid". It fit pretty well actually just like I thought Luke Skywalker was a p*ssy but then his attitudes change.

I have to disagree with both of you. She can look attractive but she is NOT hot and honestly she needs more body. She lacks in all areas.
It's a shame that nearly all photos now are touched up. I miss seeing real women who were models because they were actually very attractive. Of course everyone has flaws but now nearly anything can be "fixed" and ugly women can look beautiful and have a career out of it.
