Lol at anybody who gets unironically triggered if their favorite game isn’t included in this list
In any “top 10 best ___” lists there’s bound to be exclusions of what you consider great. No reason to get upset over other people’s objective opinions like it’s fact. I’m sure if you made a list of your own of whatever topic other people would call you out for any exclusions as well
Except your headline directly compared PlayStation Now with Xbox Game Pass, a service that routinely has games cycled in and out of its library.
Why even make the comparison in the first place and then try to hold one service accountable for doing something the other service has also been doing? At that point your topic just seems even more misguided.
On top of that your comment about “decreases the value of the service“ doesn’t make much sense when you c...
Half of the titles listed in this article were already available on PS Now
Where’s your journalistic integrity? Don’t you research the topics you make articles about?
@ Ky
The entire game has new assets all around. That’s completely different from the Saints Row 4 remaster years back
@ Black
FFVIIR is not the standard of what a remake is.
If you saw this game you’d see it’s not just better textures. They’ve redone the entire game from the ground up. Digital Foundry even did a piece about it

It’s built from the ground up with new assets all around making it a remake more than a remaster
Is that another Nintendoom article I spy
Why?
Nah it’s being made completely from the ground up with new assets
Those three games aren’t the only examples of remakes
Just because something works doesn't mean it can't be improved.
On the other hand the history of the fighting game genre is rife with times where certain characters couldn’t be included in the roster so DLC is a way to remedy that
What I have the biggest issue with is where finished characters aren’t included in the base game but instead are made paid DLC
This is the kind of title Nintendo can price at $60. It’s only going to be that more jarring to see future rereleases that add very little new content yet still garner that unwarranted $60
It’s a remake not a remaster
“If Microsoft plays its cards right, the Xbox Series X could even win the next-gen battle. A few years back, that seemed unthinkable.”
That’s always unthinkable. Xbox brand doesn’t have the global clout to come out on top in console sales.
Xbox 360 in particular is the only console in history that sold over 45 million in North America yet still failed to cross 100 million worldwide, which speaks volumes of how limited Xbox’s commercial appeal can be.
Loosely connected? A large part of the plot points of Chrono Cross happened directly because of what happened with Chrono Trigger.
Rayman Origins and Legends is not the same as other 2D platformers
I can understand why some may be disappointed, but let’s not go overboard and say nobody appreciated the port at all.
Learning to cope with a malfunction on expensive controllers?
So many Nintendo fans have Stockholm syndrome
“Why is it trolling with a PS4 port nobody wants?“
Go to hell with that notion. Plenty of people still valued this port. People especially liked how it got ported to other platforms as well later on
I appreciated a version of this game on consoles with HD resolution, analog stick support, Trophies, and being able to turn off random encounters and play at 3x speed make it my favorite version.
Look in the mirror dude
Since you seem to be ignorant of what Bandai Namco considers mainline titles I’ll list them for you so you don’t end up further embarrassing yourself
1.) Tales of Phantasia (1995)
2.) Tales of Destiny (1997)
3.) Tales of Eternia (2000)
4.) Tales of Destiny 2 (2002)
5.) Tales of Symphonia (2003)
6.) Tales of Rebirth (2004)
7.) Tales of Legendia (2005)
8.) Tales of th...
RE7 isn’t an exclusive yet it was included on this list. If this were a topic of games that should stay on the service rather than just come to it the description or headline should’ve reflected as such.
Of course XGP has a larger subscriber base when you can get into the program at $1. That’s way more generous than a week free trial.
It comes down to personal preference.
