you hear that, Sony?
Guide me HOME please!
why are ps3 numbers lower than usual in japan? hmmm
i could be wrong here and get disagrees...but prototype looks more promising. that and it's getting more media attention. either way i'll be looking out for both of these.
one of the 10+ million lucky ones (myself included)
one of the many hard hitting games for the ps3. i'll see all of you current and future ps3 owners this summer for MGO :-)
i already put this game on my list of must-haves. sony and ps3 fans ftw!
GeOW2 will definitely be a smash hit. No doubt.
But Sony, and even MS for that matter, have things planned out so i guess we all have to play the waiting game.
To Sony - Killzone 2 for 08 pls! And also some more info about inFamous and/or Heavy Rain would be nice....:-)
oh cmon! don't play with my emotions like that! tease info sucks :-\
haha i got disagrees because i stated that i don't favor one console version running better than another? wow...
Thank you , engineer. bubbles for you. my point exactly.
the cell is more complicated so whatever they are doing now ain't working, so why not fix it? in the end, all they want is for the games between the consoles to be as optimal in console performance as possible.
so explain to me how the 360 versions of these games will be gimped? when it comes to creating games, developers should have no favoritism over any console version of a game. if they all run/play well with each respective console version, then it should be gravy, no? if it means making ps3 the lead platform so that ALL versions will run well then so be it.
for the title of best selling game of 08....i'm seeing brawl, gta4, and mgs4 fighting for that crown.
well, seeing as that people are still not ready to commit to HDTV and blu-ray the transition is still pending. i am still doubtful about how quick people really can adapt to another format seeing as that they are still reluctant to migrate.
actually, LaChance....i meant to say full BC as in Sony is still supporting PS2 playability with PS2 games being released and also with PS2 still being sold in retail. the 360, i believe, only has software emulation so it is not 100% BC. Correct me, if i'm wrong on that one.
well put, kuest. bubbles for you.
i'll wait till Sony Gamer's Day for more announcements. ANyone know when that is?
in a word....yes. the consumers should be to blame with HD-DVD's failure. financial reports seem to say so; blu-ray content outsold HD-DVD by a large margin so how else would the HD-DVD survive?
@AceLuby
I meant software as in games in general. MS will sell a lot of software as indicated by their successful revenue with first and third party software. but yeah, you're right, i'm not really talking about games off Live.
in all honesty, MS and Sony both give substantial amount of support for each development team. The releases of PhyreEngine by Sony and Nocturnal Initiative by Insomniac helps with the coding for the Cell architecture. If developers had trouble developing for ps3 before, then these are just logical steps that Sony is taking towards answering that, so they have less to conmplain about.
they forgot to add condemned 2 in there. plus GT5: Prologue is now in April not March. but all in all a great month for games.
