But the thing here is that games based on QTE are pretty rare in comparison to traditional games. So your point is meaningless. No need to get paranoid.
God of war is not QTE based. Apart from the end of some boss fights you can kill almost every enemy in the game by beating them down. The qte are mostly just cool looking rewards.

The gameplay is as deep as it gets for a shooter.
Nothing wrong with a game being linear.

On a sidenote i'd like to point out that Demons souls is fantastic and easily on my top 5 but the elitist hardcore gaymer fanbase that game developed makes want to vomit with disgust.
No real proffesional website should ever be using meme's. Apart from excluding tons of readers from their inside joke it makes the website on a whole lose alot of credibility and respect. They may gather dust on account of your short attention span downtown but every game I buy I keep and play atleast multiple times. Take dead space for example. After initially playing it two times I went back a few months later to relive it and it felt fresh again as I didn't recall all the details and monsters. And I just finished a playthrough recently again. Trading in games to gamestop is so incredibly stupid, you get ripped off so badly and they mark up the price by atleast 20 dollar...

Very annoyed at this. Sony should have given these guys as much time as they needed to make the game. The way god of war 2 ended you kinda sorta expected GOW3 to be the game of the century for PS3. We got a really really good game but instead of it being the best game on the PS3 it's usually in the top 5 of most lists. It's still my favorite though as the gameplay is so fun.
Still, the 2nd one remains my favorite.
I just finished ghost of sparta and I have to say to bad for you if you are a fan and don't have a PSP. It's easily top three in the series and and the graphics are astounding for the PSP. The ending after the credits is so badass you could tell from looking at his face he was about to raise more hell than ever before.
