I don't see why they would need to. I've played around 10 hours of it and it seems just as good if not slightly better than 3. Though to be honest the game is buggy. Nothing too bad though yet.

Lords plays like GOW. Unlike Kratos though, Gabriel is to much of a weakling to stun his enemies for more than 2 and has to roll around the dirt more often as a result.
I think this is actually a very good summarization of why I and most of the gaming audience never found Bayonetta to be appealing at all.
I agree. If I wanted true challenging gameplay where using different combo's is necessary I would play NG. Bayonetta isn't really that complex. Just alot of flashy combo's.
Again, it wasn't really a true install. Don't believe me? start the game and play for a few minutes. It only starts out with a few megabytes. It grows over time by loading parts of the game on the HDD. The freezing was caused due to the fact that the HDD would have trouble finding random parts of the game save from the HDD. The freezing issues would start once your character save would go past 8 GB's
It wasn't really a proper install. It would load bits of the game onto the hardrive while you progressed through the game.
This is a good thing. It will most likely load alot faster and not have freezing issues because of this.
I'm torn between getting this or not. I absolutely loved 3. I found playing it to be very relaxing and funny at times. But I know these guys are gonna end up releasing a GOTY package a year later that will enhance my experience and save me $50 dollars worth of DLC.

I have man. Despite having a shitload of combo's I never really feel the need to deviate from the standard bread n butter combo's. You know like where you keep pressing punch she yells she's had enough and ends with a giant boot stomp. And whenever you kill a boss and engage climax the game makes you mash much harder than any GOW game I have ever played. I bought bayonetta at a blockbuster for $14.99 used and I honestly don't remember anything about it apart from the incredibly annoying music and the mashing gameplay. I'm not sure if I even finished it or not. The only difference between both games is that GOW you can mash square square triangle while in bayonetta it's triangle triangle triangle circle triangle. Darksiders was better than Bayonetta. I think it sold more too.

It was also kinda obvious how they cut a level on the inside of Cronos once you go sliding down his throat it just zooms out and suddenly Kratos finds the omphalos stone stone and his stomachs weak point.

Both aren't very nice but while drake is a thief his heroic aspects come out when he sees the world might be endangered and he does risk his life to help others often. And Kratos does start to self destruct along with everything else in 2 but he did save greece from being invaded by the persians by himself and then gave up being his daughter to save the world from collapsing.
