Good God....
Socom was NEVER a graphical benchmark for a tactical shooter.
Why people were expecting above average visuals for this game when all the games in the past were not astounds me.
The game was always slightly behind in that visual package but truly excelled in gameplay and action.
That's where it counts.
I for one would love to see the series go to the PC platform and take full advantage of dx11 hardware

Enjoy your 720p and SUBHD console gaming with no Anti-Aliasing or little of it running at or below 30fps with low resolution textures and hacks of HDR and Anti-Aliasing costing $10-$15 more for the same game on that PC you say sucks.

This game should sell another 5 million more. Its such an amazing game and you have the love the direction of the game and how it is a breath of fresh air when compared to the sea of FPS games out there.

Of course KZ3 is Triple A material. Have you played the game? Most likely not. The quality of the game is above reproach. You are just trolling.

They did. The xbox360 could not handle all that high level HDR in real time at that FP.
None of these consoles can.
AW was a great game but should have been on the PC also where the game engine could have really shined.

And those graphic engines are vastly inferior to the Frost Bite 2.0 engine. Show me one of those games that look like BF3 and has almost full environmental destruction? Hint: There is none. Not KZ2/3. Not GOD3. Not Uncharted 2. Not Heavy Rain. RFOM2. None of them. There is a reason why those games on the PS3 like games on the Xbox360 can have that level of multi-players or lack there of...

The lighting in this game was the reason it was subhd. It was a great looking game. Too bad it was not on the PC where it could have really shown its game engine

Actually the PS3 does not do DX10 nor does it perform HDR+AA together...or at least well.
The RSX (Geforce 7 series GPU which does not support HDR+AA in hardware) cannot do this so it has to be split among the Cell to do one task and the RSX to do the other. Which is a performance killer.
This is why developers have opted for a post production AA (MLAA) to by pass this.

There are SO many better games out that are superior to Black Ops. KZ3 is one of them. It's a shame that COD sells this well and the game is lacking in so many ways compared to recent FPS games released.
