I really hope the steven spielberg halo series is about master chiefs origins, because he really is a silent awkward giant because he was raised as a killer from a very young age. Virtually all of his family and friends are dead and he can't relate to anyone but them so...
If there's any video game story I'd like many people to know, its master chiefs origins.
It looks fun. I have no problem with it having the halo name attached to it, but limiting it to windows 8 stuff is lame as hell.
Thinking this game rules out a "real" halo game is the stupidest thing I've ever heard.
They made this game because they wanted to. It has virtually no effect on the "real" halo games being made.
It's basically a bonus extra game in addition to the primary franchise games you KNOW are already being made.
It's like complaining about getting more than you paid for. Stupid.
I dunno, this game and fable anniversary are not really big games you'd want to announce at E3. Seeing as they were revealed early, it really doesn't detract much from the possibility of Fable 4.

This game has virtually zero effect on the "main" franchise. 343 are barely involved except to give it direction.
It looks like something fun to do when you have some downtime away from your console/computer/whatever. There is NOTHING wrong with it not being a primary franchise game. Those still exist, this can exist with it. It has a different purpose. Nothing wrong with that.

What's stopping you? Not like there being a tv show will impact the games.
The halo universe is almost too big to do a movie. Imagine all the plot lines of LOTR but with a 3 decade war instead of however many months its lasted. You'd need to make 8 movies.
Band of brothers meets game of thrones is what I'm hoping for, as far as quality.
If you played nothing but the games, you would think of her as part of the chief, but she's only been with him for approx 2-3 months (real non sleeping time).
The other 35+ years of his life was with his fellow spartans. And some of them are still alive. They should reclaim their rightful throne as chiefs pals, something I've been hoping for since Halo 2.

It looks nice, but it is so goofy and stereotypical from top to bottom that it almost seems like a joke. It's not like wow, it's more like a wacky wild adventure that uses the wow engine that features your wow character. They said it's not kung fu panda, but it's EXACTLY like that in every stereotypical way.

And halo is about a religious genocide that nearly results in the extinction of humanity, and gruesome space zombies that keep their hosts alive while controlling their malformed bodies. Sounds pretty serious to me. What's your point?
The "information right in front of you" is only there because 343 WANTED it to be. They wouldn't spoil the grand overarching story in a vidoc 2 months before hand. Do you REALLY think they're that stupid? Apparently you do.
Do you really think 343 would spoil the bid bad guy and the final fight 2 months before the game is released? Heck no. The didact might be a nemesis, but I think the real threat has yet to be revealed. They don't "accidently" put such an important fight into a video that they KNOW people will find every detail about. They have a purpose, they're throwing us off.
I digress, it's a particularly weak weapon, you aren't getting through much with it unless the other team is really that bad.
And I like how the waypoint for your flag carrier says "ESCORT", because 9/10 of the xbox live kiddies don't understand what to do with the flag carrier.
