However you do have to remember that its not just buying second hand... People renting games affect everything
Akuma was in X-men Children of the atom.
Sakura was in Rival Schools but I guess that wasn't really out of place at all.
Can't really think of other special guest characters that appeared in a capcom game.
However I do believe that it would be better for Cole to be in Street Fighter X Tekken, no one really cares too much about MvC3 anymore.
I like VIII alot more, but i understand why people like VII more...
VII was very cliche anime from the 90's and I believe that's what everyone liked at that time...
But it makes stuff look alot better using a full on next gen engine...
I mean Ninja Gaiden Sigma was a quick remake with a different engine and it looked pretty decent

I believe that the XMB is a great way to navigate through everything, since it is quick and easy to use. However it does look a little to plain.
It's hard to compare it with the 360 because the PS3 has RAM issues and the only reason the XMB is slow is because of the ram and not because of the layout.
Square was developing the white engine exclusively for the PS3, but then decided that they want the engine to work for the 360/PC aswell so they changed the name to the crystal engine
Nintendo wanted to make massive profits on 3DS which is why it had a $249 price tag...Adding anohter nud/analog stick will not bump up the price that much... now you can still get a 3DS a lot cheaper but im pretty sure it is still making money for every handheld that is sold... Whilst the Vita is going to be selling at a lost with the $249 price tag
I think there is nothing Sony can learn from Nintendo 3DS launch, Sony should just launch Vita like they have done in the past.
I normally purchase consoles around the launch day period because the technology is fantastic and the games are great. 3DS in my opinion has had one of the worst range of launch titles and even til now hasnt got anything good.
That would be a great incentive for people to keep games for longer. Big problem with that would be the psn/xbla games which costs a little to buy but gives you alot of points.
Also you would probably just see Sony/Microsoft adding $1 on top of every game :D

achievements/trophies didn't ruin it... It is the DLC that has ruined in game rewards.
I still think that DLC is great tho. It can expand the game and add more quests/maps... hate the idea of costume packs tho.
Big reason why some trophies/achievements are great...
Trophies/achievements were mainly designed for hardcore gamers that complete games over and over again and try to master the whole game, such as not dying once or getting to lvl 99 on a JRPG...
I completed FFVIII without leveling a single character.... that was a thrilling experience for myself but I had hope there was an achievement/trophy that would acknowledge that I did it.
Come on, we all know that the wand thing sony created was a long time ago... We all knew Sony had been creating something for the eyetoy a while ago.
But people saying Ninetendo are gonna get sued for the Wii U is just plain stupid... The patent is nowhere close to what the Wii U is doing.

DMC fans are professionals are pretending a game doesn't exist right, DMC2 just somehow fanished from their minds and that game was made by capcom. They could just do that for this game aswell.

PSvita will have the PSsuite though, which I think you are getting it mixed up with... read it up yourself...
Back on topic, I think people who doesn't have a home console will think that, but people that do will want a PSvita.
