Sure it sucks that its going to be late to the party but its still coming. None of you seem to be able to grasp the concept that the X86 version has been in development since day 1 so it makes sense that the 3 platforms that use X86 architecture will launch first. It's easy to port from PC to PS4 and Xone because they are just esentially streamlined midrange PCs.
The Wii U is a completely different animal...
Project Cars definitely has more competition on Xone and PS4 but you also have to take into account both Drive Club and Forza Horizon are arcade/sims where as Project Cars is a strait Simulation. Slightly different appeal. I think this game will sell at least pretty well on every platform.
This sucks for sure but It may not be as stupid as you think. This holiday season with the arrival of Smash Wii U's will be selling like hotcakes (PS4 & Xones included)
Slightly Mad will end up selling to a larger base and next spring may not have any substancial releases for the Wii U.
Also gives the devs more time to optimize for the more limited challenging hardware Gamepad included and its crunch time now for all X86 versions (PC, PS4, Xone)
I will be tempted to buy the Wii U version of this game seing as how Slightly Mad studios are actually putting in a valiant effort by the sounds of things. However for a simulation racing game I will have to stick with the PC version because I have invested in a Logitech G27 racing wheel (which is amazing) also 60fps at possibly 1080p...

It seems that the Wii U's GPU has a mix of both DX10 & 11 like features.
Would be awesome to see either a new Wave Race or F-Zero!!! Shinen could prob make both great but I honestly hope Nintendo improves upon that wonderful MarioKart 8 engine for the next F-Zero.
I'm sure this Fast Racing game will turn out great but they need to show it like now. I have been reading this same article over and over for like a year and a half now and its getting pretty annoying.

If Nintendo unifies its virtual consoles across home and handheld systems it would be a huge + for gamers and would up the level of value for Nintendo systems and make their competitors take notice. In terms of value I personally refuse to pay monthly subscribtions for online when I already have to pay the cable companies for it that's why I went for the Wii U + PC combo this gen. Best 1st party games from Nintendo graphically superior 3rd party on PC with no monthly fees. All you Ponies ...

Gamepad display is actually 560p and it looks so nice because the system is downsampling or supersampling a higher resolution images to it. In some ways it looks better than my brand new 55" 1080p samsung, it seems to smooth out any jaggies and imperfections. Really all the current gen controllers are excellent and high quality the only bad feature is the light bar on the DS4 because it reflects off your display and saps the battery life and serves no real legitamite gaming purpose. Wii U Pro controller doesn't get enough love. Super ergonomical once you get used to it 80+ hour battery life excellent buttons and the best D-pad in the business. Not ideal for racing games with lack of analog triggers but otherwise great. Using it to play Dark Souls 2 on PC and its a perfect fit.

I agree that the TLOU is slightly overrated and yes the gameplay is its weakest element but its still very solid. I would say the Uncharted series takes the crown for the most overrated games though. We are both going to be trampled by a rabid Pony stampede for our opinions now lol.
