Halo MCC runs two games at once in Halo 2, correct? I believe that's why XB1 continues to struggle to hit 1080p/60fps in Halo 2.
PS4 is stronger so it should be able to run two games at once with even better quality than XB1.
Further, this doesn't require the duplication of the entire game in terms of rendering. It requires the game to be rendered once and only transferability of inputs and streaming capability are at issue here (goes to bandwidth)....
If this works "in the wild," it will be a game-changer.
Will it bury MS? No, but they'll have to scramble to play catch-up. This isn't minor suspend/resume or YouTube functionality.

Cool that he came out and said that. MS definitely needs something of that caliber in that genre. Could happen but ND is a unique developer. It's tough to find regardless of a buy or build strategy and I hope he does it. I'm a fan of both consoles, I'll take all the ND-like developers you can throw at me, irrespective of platform.

Will Shadow of Mordor and Inquisition be similar games? I've been reading about both and, while there are some combat/strategic differences, they look largely the same. Am I missing anything? I'd like to pick one of them up but can't figure out which one would be more my style.
1) Played this with my headset on and lights off. My girl had to come check on me a few times because I, um, well... I screamed like a girl on more than one occasion.
2) I agree about the lighting, it was awesome. However, I thought the aliasing was average at best. Saw a good deal of flicker/shimmer on picture frames for example. Thoughts? Is that part of the intended downgrade? I'm sure it'll be fixed in the final game but it definitely stood out to me.

Nope, no one forgot. But this article is specifically about graphics and nothing else. It is open world and the graphics suffer (relatively) because of it. Weather effects in DC are supposedly superior in DC as well.
I agree with him, it is more comprehensive from a feature-set perspective.
I like my XB1 but I think that it does a lot of things well but nothing great. The PS4 focused on gaming and dropped the ball on non-gaming features. I prefer my PS4 to my XB1 because I think it's a better gaming console. My XB1 has turned into my living room media box which is fine but that's not the primary reason as to why I bought it. Hopefully, upcoming exclusives will shift that.
