I wasn't meaning to combine platforms, just kind of showing Nintendo is on fire and that is another example of their growing success. Nintendo is the only one with something like the SNES Classic. We should get a PS1 Classic IMO. That would be a day 1 buy for me...
You can't simply judge by metacritic scores. I mean the Switch had two of the best games EVER come out in the span of 7 1/2 months. There are also games that in my view, like Xenoblade 2, which are better than Metacritic gives it credit for. Also Splatoon has had a ton of updates and added features since it was reviewed. So that's not always accurate. PS4 had a lot more games as well due to the fact that it's been out for several years, while this was the Switch's first year. ...
@vinnie last year I was singing xbox praises and fanboys loved me, now I'm being harsh and you all hate me. they are lagging behind. like three exclusives all year? that's pathetic.

competition drives innovation. I mean even a big wig at Sony says they have to pay attention to the Switch. That's a GOOD thing. Because of competition, and really the Switch is going to be a massive success, we will get better games. The gamers win again and Xbone is lost somewhere, which is kinda sad.
If Pokemon comes out things will explode next year. Or Metroid. If they have Metroid, Pokemon, Yoshi, and Kirby, and then maybe a Smash port, I think that they have a chance to compete with Sony's lineup. Regardless, gamers win, the two companies are killing it.

I don't disagree about variety. I also take into consideration like the Switch came out in march and is brand new, the PS4 is finally coming into its own. For me, Xenoblade 2 was my favorite game this year. I wrote articles literally saying Zelda would be GOTY, and it was, but that wasn't really my feelings, just looking at it analytically and how outlets and even TGA pick GOTY.

Honestly Nintendo killed it this year but I really wonder about next year. If they want to continue this momentum they need Metroid and Pokemon to release. I mean Kirby and Yoshi are great, but, they aren't killer titles. Pokemon would make the world go mad.
Does that include 2ds and new Nintendo 3DS XL sales?

Yeah they're actually going to restart an online campaign and deliver it to Harada-san. Now or never. I totally agree on Monolith too. They would have to. Even if Takahashi wants to fix certain things. They've moved on, but the frieking Zohar is in Xenoblade 2 going by the Conduit, I mean obviously he hasn't moved on too much and Xenoblade 1 and Fiora late in the game was literally KOS-MOS.
@shinoff all I'm trying to say as a whole I don't think it would sell great on the PS4, but on the Switch it would because of the Xenoblade games which have done well. But then again they might and you're right. One of the biggest problems was that the Xenosaga games were all released years apart telling one full story that nowadays would be in one game. It actually may sell great if all put in one game on both systems.
I've played it a few times and honestly from what I played the game felt subpar. Rare needs to put their talents where they lie. Not with games like this.
This is very interesting. Being a day before january it doesn't surprise me totally but it's actually shocking that Amazon put these out.
