Unless of course someone decides to download the game, burn to blu-ray and sell for £5 a pop. It wont happen yet - the price of blu-ray blanks will prevent that - but it could happen in the future.

The above does happen with 360 games on DVD.

"Blu-ray also has its own layer of encryption." Which has been successfully hacked - for some time.

"..Not to mention the fact that I've tested both with premium Sennheiser headphones, and the Zune has considerably better audio quality".

Really, I use Senhheiser HD 650's, normally reserved for my Earmax Pro headphone amp using top quality rips and 24/96 flacs fed from a top quality DAC, and I'd say that the iTouch aquits itself pretty well, even in such company. I'm not an Apple fan by any means - especially when it comes into their tying you into proprietary hard...

Based on UNIX, just as XP and Vista is based in VMX.

I know which operating system I prefer; (hint, it begins with U).

"Honestly... even if the the maximum graphic quality the xbox 360 could reach is what we have seen in Gears 2, Resident Evil 5 (which is not the case).."

Really, and just how would you know that?

Why are they laying people off and consolidating?

No, an emulator emulates the hardware, by using software.

What this software does is trick a PS3 which can already play PS2 games, using the Emotion Engine, into booting a PS2 game from its internal HDD.

If the PS3 can't play PS2 games, this software will not enable it to do so.

So lets see, according to what's written in the article 68 out of 250,000 PS3 lasers fail, that's 0.0272%. Yet at least 33% of Xbox 360's fail which is 1213 TIMES MORE. That's why Microsoft HAVE to give a 3 year warranty and Sony give a "standard" 1 year warranty. Basically the PS3 is a very well built product with an extremely small failure rate and the XBOX360 is, let's face it, a POS.

Of course they don't that's why they're on here hating away. I mean if they had the games to play they'd be playing them, wouldn't they..

Oh yes that is so true..

and out from the woodwork come the xbots; are they so bored of “their” consol that they haven’t got anything better to do than hate on the PS3. It’s all very sad behaviour.

"..then they moved to Toshiba/Samsun(g).."

Yes, but as was pointed out in the video, the design had been modified so that the rubber buffers had been removed from the standard drive, thus causing issues. Why microsoft would want to remove those buffers is beyond me - given that any cost saving would be minimal - but they did.

"how can u possibly bring a faulty machine to a buisness confereance...???? that would be like a salesman talking to a possible client and demoing a product and haveing it fail right then and there.... o the embarrassment"

Because they can relay on their (brain?)washed fanbase to keep buying the product.

".. and when you have a game that has a 720p native r and you upscale the rest it will look a lot of a hell better in 1080p then it running 720p."

Not really. A lot depends on the quality of the scaler, i.e. is the scaler in the 360 better than the scaler in your TV. Many people tend to forget that HD tv's have built in scalers, otherwise they'd be HD only.

Even very expensive dedicated scalers still won't match native HD resolution.

However, I'd like to see the what the new processor can do in a real world environment. It would be interesting to see a comparison between a cluster of IBM blades (with the cell) against a "comparable" cluster of machines with the new Intel chip.

Pity they couldn't optimize the hardware, particularly heat removal from the CPU/GPU.
