"Video game journalists" need to stop sucking up to Bioware and stop completely disregarding actual fans of the "industry". It's like for every fifty articles blasting fans and supporting Bioware there is only one article coming out giving our real side of the story. We aren't happy with a lack luster effort of a game. Which it was. Even before a bad ending.

Yes. Because they did. They lumped in an entire group of fans with entitled cry babies. Despite numerous coming out and saying, "Yeah we aren't crying. We are just disappointed." Then came out with valid reasons as to why the game even leading up to the ending wasn't as amazing as the hype machine(you) said it was. Then once again were still called entitled cry babies.

You "journalists" at the very least are biased on this issue. The ratings on th...

Can I expect an article calling out the critics that called all the fans that disagreed with them, entitled cry babies? I mean really a lot of us disliked the game. Sold/returned it. Moved on. However still stated with plenty of reasons why the game was average with a bad ending and why critics were wrong in giving it a blind high rating regardless of the fact it clearly isn't a perfect game. Or even close to it. A lot of the fans were a bit wrong with their hate. Not wrong, just couldn&#...

When did critics become like Fox News? Paint anyone that disagrees with your clear biased agenda as crazy and keep shouting you are right. Someone out there will eventually agree with you. Almost every critic has decided to go this route because gamer's had the balls to call them and bioware out on an average game with a bad ending.

I don't think he and others were bought off. I do think a lot of them didn't beat the game. I do think a lot of them got caught up in the hype they helped create. I do think they gave it a review based on the entire trilogy. I do think they didn't give the game an objectionable review. Then to cap it off like a lot of other critics were quick to come to the game and their own defense after a lot of fans called B.S. I mean the same type of people that chastised Avatar for generic d...

L.A. Noire was meant as a throwback to your old school noir movies. So really you can't complain over something as asinine as changing characters towards the end. It was a story driven game. It did what was best for it's story. As far as the flamethrower complaint goes. The guy in the article himself said it had a good reason for being there but says it shouldn't have been there without ever really going into detail as to why that is. In short he says the ending is bad because it&...

Yeah, if anyone needs defending it's a million(billion?) dollar company that phoned the entire third game in it's trilogy in, at the very least leaned on critics for favorable reviews, released integral on the disc day one dlc for money, and is now going to come out with more dlc to try to clean up their mess for what you assume is even more money.

But don't you for even one second think of defending or apologizing to the fans for not having the balls to call out ...

Alright going on this logic, it was really the Space Cows from Mass Effect 1 we never see again. Cause hey, why not?

Well few things.

Bioware can tell us to eff off. Critics can start doing their jobs and give honest reviews. As the backlash wouldn't have been that big had they done that to begin with. Though really this can all be summed up by stating point blank, Bioware did not try with Mass Effect 3. At least from a story stand point. The entire third game reeked of lazy writing. Be it cheap dialogue or lazy plot devices. Not to mention cliched romances and death scenes. Hell every...

Holy crap is this article awful. Like beyond missing the point. Not to mention, if I could be offended, this article would definitely be one that would do it. Comparing a game and gamer outrage to 9/11? The article literally did that.

To be fair if the critics would have come out and given the game an honest rating. That of a 7 out of 10 or even an 8 out of 10, there wouldn't be that big a discrepancy. The whole Mass Effect 3 backlash has as much to do with the critics as it does with Bioware/E.A./the game itself. It wasn't a fantastic game. It was a good game capped off with a horrible ending. I recently bought Tales of Graces. Nothing spectacular by any means and guess what? Majority of critics/fans haven't t...

Gameplay was great. Don't get me wrong. I just meant this clearly was a story second mentality type of game. Not unlike Dragon Age 2. Though that was a different beast all together. Back to Mass Effect 3. The dialogue throughout was that of a James Cameron script writing for dummies mad lib book. The characters were all turned into one dimensional caricatures. If that. Some just showed up to remind us we did indeed play Mass Effect one and two before venturing onto Mass Effect 3. Don'...

I just think it's as simple as they didn't try with this game. The whole game really shows a complete lack of effort. Ending just capped off a very average affair with a horrible wrap up. Dragon Age 2 was probably the same deal. Honestly I don't mind a bad game/movie/whatever as long as whoever made it tried. This game was just a phoned in cash grab that is getting the backlash it deserves from the fans. Cause lord knows the critics and/or "game journalists" don't ha...

God I think E.A./Bioware's secret plan is to get us to hate the critics more then we could ever hate their barely effort of a game. Though really it is just putting me off them and the video game critic industry off entirely.

When did we get like this? When did we constantly start missing the point entirely? When did we get so far up video game companies butts and stop giving a damn about the fans? When did we stop holding video game companies to a high standard and settle for good enough? When did we start getting angry at fans for calling us out on not finishing games and purposely ignoring the faults only to focus on the positives in order to favor video game companies that quite frankly don't need the help...

You know I have purposely been avoiding saying critics were bought off by Bioware/EA but "articles" like this make it really hard to think otherwise. Seriously even Fox News doesn't try this hard when a Republican is caught in a scandal. Maybe E.A./Bioware and the critics need to just stop talking about it and hope it goes away. Cause all they are doing is making themselves look bad and only convincing fanboys they are right for supporting the indoctrination theory Bioware has a...

Bioware and critics owe the fans an apology. Bioware for not trying. Clearly ME3 wasn't their best effort. Critics clearly ignored all the short comings when it came to the game and only focused on the positive. Then they rated the game highly based on the entire series. Which whatever is fine. Not fine, but something you can overlook. What wasn't fine was them turning against their audience because they disagreed with their reviews. They went into a Fox News level of spin on this mat...

There is a big difference in proving something and not disproving something. You can make an argument that since the Illusive man was indoctrinated and the game didn't say since when. He could have been indoctrinated since ME2. Much more The Reapers could have been using him to use Shephard. So Shephard could have been indoctrinated since ME2 as well. So everything we see in ME2 and ME3 is distorted. May just be half true. And guess what? Because the game/story never explicitly states oth...

I wish there was better advertising. Even online. I was lucky enough to pick this up when I saw it at Gamestop when I went to sell back Mass Effect and some other games. Luckily enough this game has put me in a better mood and taken the cynical out of me in regards to ME. By the way if people didn't know it was called Tales Of Graces F, it'd look like Tales Of Graces was getting an "F" in every review. I don't know, I thought that was a little funny.
