Which options do I have to pick to get more than barely superficial differences this jerk off* of an article writer calls completely different experiences?
*no offense with the jerk off comment people. I'm in a nineties kind of swearing mood today and seriously this game doesn't bring any meaningful differences throughout the game no matter what Shephard you import.
If anything I'd be worried the game only doubled in sales. Not to mention this isn't even taking into account those that were returned/sold back. It'd be interesting to see what the sales for this month are. Hell what was their budget for making/advertising the game? Cause I'd like to see how much of a profit they actually make.
Neither myself. Though between the two clearly one has a real bias and the other would have no real reason to fail or praise something other than personal opinion(ignoring fanboys/trolls, though even critics are guilty of that too). Not to say critics don't have opinions that can differ from some, but there will always be that bias there. Free exclusives, friends in the industry, etc. Even if some do their best to be unbiased and some might even succeed, there is that cloud hanging over t...
^"It could have been worse"= Most honest and best review for Mass Effect 3.
No, most of the galaxy is destroyed. Even then that complain is under the blanket of a wider range of issues regarding the ending. Again you are missing the point and dumbing things down.
I'm glad the extended cut will have that. I'm sure it was also come out and say what they really meant to say before the game was released and they promised things that were false. I'm sure they'll also do their best to make, "We were created to destroy you to protect y...
That is really dumbing the issue down and completely missing the point. Everyone expected the Reapers to die. Everyone expected the dragon to die. Despite that, Dragon age still showed what happened with all the other choices you made in the game. On top of which all different races/characters brought different stories to the table as well. Hell your post is downright contradictory in nature when you break it down.
Also nobody ever complained or even thought this would be the...
One of the best articles I've read on the matter. Read period actually. Does a great job of giving the fans point of view, some video game community insight, and not pandering like a lot of other articles do.
Well if the Wii U is the next generation console competition, maybe their online will be better? In which case they might offer the future arc online. Which I think is the only difference between the two games.
It took me a bit to get used to it. I was ready to hate it but after I got to the adult arc, I ended up mastering it pretty alright. I still prefer Vesperia when all is said and done, but that's probably cause it was the first I ever played in the series. I then had to go back and get a hold of all the ones I could find, incidentally enough.
From a game play standpoint maybe. However from a story it was incredibly weak. Down to the cliched dialogue and story elements pulled out of nowhere to force the story along. Much more, regardless of what was done in the previous games, if you play Mass Effect 3 the game is ninety percent the same. With nothing but superficial differences to appease the most easily pleased of us. But please tell me why the game was the best in the series for you. The "idiot" would like to know.
I played it and passed it a few times before selling it back. For a game that always relied heavily on story to make up for it's above average at best game play, it did indeed fix something that wasn't broken in ME3. As clearly the game play was the main focus in the third game and the story took a back seat. Ignoring the average dialogue throughout and the convenient story elements thrown in, in order to force the story along. Not to mention ignoring the almost universally agreed upo...
This is the problem with conversation in this generation. As little as possible is given and then still called worth while. It is a lot more to it than that. There is a difference in, "I like my video games with more game play than story". Compared to, "This video game makes sure all your decisions matter even to the most minute detail". One is opinion, the other can easily be argued. Especially when it is downright wrong.
I guess. In the same way the Nintendo "Virtual Boy" was worth it.
Did I say anything close to that? How many serious questions were they asked regarding all the controversy? People reported they were asked nothing but soft ball questions. Oh but feel free to keep patting yourself on the back for buying into a generalization created by people that don't have the balls to admit they were wrong, even the one time.
In regards to Baka, Comic Con hasn't been about comics in forever, unfortunately. Why I stopped going this year. Nothing bu...
A lot of very misleading "pluses" in this review. Few downright lies as well. You know, it is getting harder and harder to argue critics weren't paid off for good reviews. I used to defend them and say they simply got caught up in the hype or didn't finish the game. But when reviews come out saying every thing you do in the previous games shapes and moves the universe in the third one in great detail...
Well simply put, tlreview.com is now blocked.
Wonder if comic con will be a more honest type of audience. I imagine they really screened the audience for PAX.
I really want to agree with this article. Though I had problems with the game even leading up to the ending and actually have compared this game to Indigo Prophecy/Farenheit. For how it seemingly changes stories and game play for no apparent reason, and how that was a reason people hated it. I felt that about ME3 throughout. That it abandoned the first two games to make a quick buck. Ignoring all that though, and the fact I do agree with most of this article. Nolan? Really? Nolan? He's li...
You mean reviews that try to save face and protect themselves from being called biased/payed off by giving the same exact review with the small change of, "I understand why people hated the ending, I liked it myself. That still doesn't change a near perfect game up until the last ten minutes. Of that, everyone can agree on".
Then when someone comes along and points out all the flaws it had before the ending and the quite average story leading up to it, they are...
Great game. I'm farming right now to temper my weapon and increase my eleth mixer. What are the odds I can do all the Inn Requests on my first play through? Trial of Graces is a fun new feature too. Though pretty hard right now that I can't use Sophie in my party.
Maybe if you've played literally every other game out there. Twice.
Even then...
I kid. Though personally I sold the game back within the week I got it and haven't looked back since. Here's hoping Bioware tries better with their next game. Keyword being tries.
