won't sell me on a title that I don't want in the first place. I think they are putting too much stock into GTA IV. It will be a big hit, but I don't think it'll be as big as they hope. I could be wrong though. We'll see soon enough.

it looks to be good news. A new SKU (or a couple of new ones) would be great . Since Microsoft has had so many problems with the old ones, we finally may see the release of hardware devoid of possible RRoD problems. I will definitely pick one up if that is the case.

a bunch of kids, then present what they tell you as facts. Now how responsible is that? What happened to research and knowing what the hell you are talking about? These days no one is being held responsible for this kind of shotty "journalism".

they don't comment on failure rates. That's part of the problem. Not commenting won't make it go away. Get on record with the stats, and tell people what you are doing to fix it.

I've seen most of the cast do much, much better work elsewhere. Damn shame.

What a complete idiot.

shame the story isn't real. And when are we getting a new Conker game? I could use some next gen flaming piss.

they are just the best ones to get. If a game is seriously flawed then the developer and publisher deserve to receive no money for it. If a game is released in that condition shame on them, and shame on you for buying it. That's the problem with the Wii. People are buying all the crap games for it. Sure, this inflates the numbers for Nintendo, but it ultimately only hurts the consumers. I don't have all AAA games for my system of choice, but I don't have the likes of Ninjabread Man eith...

the spindle idea for the packaging of computer games. Having it on the consoles sucks too. The overseas packaging is so much better. Anyway for the publisher to save an extra buck, I guess.

That was the whole "statement"? Just a couple of sentences about how it was "unfortunate" and that Best Buy will still stock HD-DVD. Wow, they won me over with that rebuttal. I'm going to go out right this minute to buy an HD-DVD and a 360 with the add-on drive. My PS3 is going to gather dust now. No sir, no use for it anymore since Blu-ray is obviously on the rocks.

Too much sarcasm there? I sometimes overdo it.

people believe of the Wii, it does have some interesting games and technology. The problem is with longevity. I don't think it will last anywhere as long as the Xbox or PS3. As far as it not being in competition with those two, it may be different, but it's still just a games machine. Both the Xbox and PS3 have the potential to be much more then that for a lot longer then expected. Sales are up for now, but the Wii bubble will burst.

This game is sounding better all the time. Can't wait to see more of it.

I don't believe any of the stuff these anonymous types post. They are never very acurate.

EA is starting to see the picture for what it is. Hopefully with this attitude the developers will be allowed to create what they want without interference from the higher ups. If EA adopts this attitude and sticks with it, I believe there may be some hope for them yet.

Front Mission 3 and was excited to hear (a long, long time ago) that the PS1 Front Mission one game was going to be released in the States. Well, that never happened (except for the DS version). FM 4 was a good game too. I'll have to pick up any new games when they come out. I am also hopeful for a next-gen version.

the Wii bubble is starting to strain. Why did Nintendo allow this to happen?

6070d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

this is vaporware. Until the game is actually released, I won't believe it. I hope it does come out though, that would be really cool if it did.

done some revolutionary things in gaming. This console generation is just one of many examples of that. The problem is, and has been, the fact that outside of first party games there really haven't been many good games for previous Nintendo console generations. The N64 and Gamecube just didn't have the support that the NES and SNES had. That is something that Nintendo has (for whatever reason) failed to correct. Now, there are more third party games then ever, but how many of them are go...

is the perfect person to tell about the problems you've had with the 360. He signed had to of signed off on the design and plan for the system. Who to lay blame upon, but the head of the organization?

design a Blu-ray player for themselves. All they have to, and most likely will do, is get a current manufacturer to do if for them. Kinda like what Sony is doing with having someone else build their PS3 chips. Ends up being cheaper that way.
