If you're talking about XI, that's not what I'd consider a true FF game. I don't know about you, but the MMO FF never really seemed like a good Idea to me. Did you get it?
order it through?
move on Sony's part. I have an 80 gig now and I'm nowhere near that as of yet. I'll probably upgrade in the future, but I don't see me needing it yet. I still have a lot of new games to spend my meager earnings on.
does come up with some pretty twisted ideas and hard to follow plots. Even with the small things wrong with his games, he is still has some of the most unique and engaging story ideas out there. Splinter Cell is good, but for entirely different reasons.
doesn't have anything like MGS on it. I'd be interesting to see an American developers take on the genre.
did Halo sell over there?
Since when does 300 (other then the PSP game) have anything to do with video games. It was based on a graphic novel and takes all its art and design cues from that. Video games were not an influence.
to see the influence of this one movie on all the forms of entertainment we have today. The little bit mentioned in this article is a drop in the bucket of all that owes tribute to this absolute classic. Time to order the Final Cut.
the new Navy Special Weapons Initiative. Top secret, very hush, hush. I 've already said too much.
with the economic and political discussion. They have no place on this story. I think the reason Microsoft isn't doing so well over there is because of the lack of games that the typical Japanese gamer likes to buy. They're not big on FPS and there are no huge JRPGs on the 360, at least none of FF caliber.
were broken down into hardware and software. Why not the video games section too? Not very interesting unless we see the numbers to back the results up.
Tomb Raider hasn't had it for a long time. They really need to pull out all the stops for this one to compete. Maybe they will pull it off. We can hope it will be good and worthy of being mentioned with Uncharted.
Sony stuck with the tried and true. If it ain't broke...
As far as Microsoft getting a motion sensing controller, I'm sure they're brainstorming something unique to get more attention. That would be a good thing. Competition breeds innovation.
the concept of the Dual Shock 3 being the 3rd iteration is beyond some peoples understanding. Sony is putting old tech into a very similar controller. The only thing that is new is the Six-axis hardware and some tweeking to the buttons. And unless I'm missing something, how could Sony copy rumble from Microsoft if it was already on the PlayStation in 1997.
I do have fun writing a blog post. I have a good time trying to come up with something that sounds semi-intelligent and maybe interesting to read, too. I do care what people think about what I write, but their opinion will never affect how I do things. I write what I feel and that will continue for as long as I can.
is still vaporware. I'll believe it when I see it. A teaser for a company party with NO game footage is joke and can't be taken seriously.
doesn't need to develop a controller like this one. Splitfish already has a controller similar to what you're talking about, for use on the PS3. It's called the Dual FX. They also have the Frag FX controller available. Sony doesn't need to waste money to play catch-up.
are going to comment on upcoming technology, at least know what you are talking about. As pointed out, the Dual Shock 3 is out in Japan and will be here in a few months. Read the news and get with the times. Chances are if Microsoft does something like this it won't see the light of day for at least a year. Enough time for it to be built and given to developers to program for.
they show a little gameplay footage or something more substantial than a teaser, it most definitely belongs on this list. Look at the original teaser for Killzone 2. It was fake. How can we believe this?
played it. Like I said, a FF MMO just didn't seem like a good idea to me. It just doesn't fit in with the rest of the series.
