This is a "good" price for a "great" game-- Microsoft really is trying to sell the Xbox One to whomever may want it.
At this point, I'd be willing to say that they are getting really close to making the purchase of the Xbox One actually "worth it".
Having said that, I still believe that they have a little "wiggle room", if they toss out the Kinect altogether.
Still, I'm happy with my TitanFall B...
Yep.
It felt kind of awkward bringing my Xbox One in to GameStop to trade it in on a PS4.
That was the week before TitanFall dropped.
I was fed up with the Xbox One's shady hardware and I got to the point that I didn't want anything to do with that system at all.
That's too bad becuase I did manage to play the TitanFall beta and had a really good time playing that game, too.
To get my PS4, I had t...
Although these bad boys have been getting great reviews, I'm still holding out for the "platinum" edition.
While it's true that Ghosts had a phenominal year sales-wise, I think that a large chunk of COD players either have already moved on with TitanFall or will be moving on with Destiny in the next several months or so.
I'd be willing to bet that a lot of FPS players are going to think twice before laying any more of thier hard-earned cash before buying the next installment of COD whenever that may be.
There are really too many BETTER games coming down th...
Although I prefer the PS4 over the Xbox One, for my own reasons, I am agreeing with you based upon your core belief that it all comes down to one's "personal preference".
By now, most of us are aware of the "tradeoffs" when buying one system over the other.
Which ever system(s) we buy, it's really up to the individual to make sure it / they are "worth it", in the long run.
I'd like to see less hate on...
While I do love my PS4 just as much as the next guy, I think there's always room for improvement.
For example, I'd especially like to get all those fine media streaming capabilities that the PS3 has back on the PS4, as well as longer battery life on the DS4 controller, and while we're at it-- where the hell is my YouTube app? Other than those few things, I feel that the PS4 is almost perfect just the way it already is now.
While it may seem like I...
Huh?
Yeah, I know that Rich from ReviewTechUSA was working on converting old systems to HDMI.
Although I doubt he has a patent on the process, I'm sure he's gong to be more than a little pissed hearing this news.
I'm in a similar "boat", haha get it?
Messed up & got a Day One edition Xbox One-- never opened it & traded for a week old PS4, a bunch of games and an extra controller.
I've been impressed with TitanFall since the last year's E3 during the Xbox One's reveal. Believe me, that was the ONLY thing that impressed me from Microsoft that day.
Knowing that TitanFall was coming in a few short weeks, I managed to mak...
In before someone else says it-- TitanFall!
I preordered TitanFall yesterday.
This is one of the most intetesting games I saw during last year's E3.
When I saw the gameplay the first time, it brought a HUGE smile to my face.
In fact, this is the single most game that made be buy the Xbox One-- even with all of the controversy surrounding that gaming machine-- yes, I want to play TitanFall THAT much!
I hope the game does well & really wish that it came out for t...
I kinda already got a Kinectless Xbox One-- the damned thing broke, (Kinect not connected error), the second day I owned it.
It shipped out this morning & I'll be without a Kinect for a while now.
I'm disappointed about this to say the least--doh!
I absolutely do prefer OLED over plain old LED-- that's why I sport the Samsung Galaxy Note 2.
In my opinion, the screen just "pops" with vivid colors and images on the OLED.
Let's face it, the whites are super bright and um, are actually the color "white" instead of being "yellowish" on the LED screen. The same can be said about the blacks on the OLED which are completely "black" on the that screen instead o...
Can't be sure yet until the game is released into the wild-- but it does look very "fun" to me, too.
I own a PS4-- pretty much love the thing-- and can say that TitanFall truly looks like it's going to be a very fun game.
Will it be perfect? No. Will it have the highest resolution & framerate known to mankind? Doubtful. Will it be fun? Probably yes, (based upon everything I've seen about the game so far).
Microsoft must have paid the developers a very large sum of money indeed for this exclusivity-- but wouldn't it have made more sense to ...
^^Exactly!^^
I think that's a fair assessment Whitey.
Unfortunately for some, one of these systems can be "fixed" with an update whereas others have to "live with" their prospective consoles "shortcomings" for the duration of this console's lifetime.
Free gear sounds good to me!
Sorry, we have company for the next few days-- my copy of Ghosts is still in the wrapper from Christmas.
I'm getting "antsy" for a chance to play it, though.
Good job Microsoft.
I'm enjoying my Xbox One very much along with TitanFall and others.
These updates are making the "One" better day by day-- anyone that can't see this is simply "in denial".
Keep 'em coming boys; keep 'em coming!
