No kidding, I also tried out at least 9 or 10 HDTVs when I finally chose one that I really liked.
Started at Walmart went back & forth at least 4 times trying out new sets there & then moved on to Best Buy.
It really was quite a show lugging those things in from the back of my truck every evening only to find myself rushing home after work just to exchange the set for a different one.
The icing on the cake was when I returned to Best ...
Not worried about the PS4 going "tits up" at all-- now, the Xbox One on the other hand...
Yup!
Funny!
"Bingo"!
The ball is in Sony's court.
There are thousands of people that got "snookered" into pre-ordering a Day One Xbox instead of a PS4-- I'm one of them.
It is my greatest hope that somehow, someway, Sony is able to ship many more units than are expected.
If that happens, I'll do everything in my power to buy a PS4 instead of the Xbox One.
If not, then my money will sit there and rot until the day one becomes...
The first thing that came to mind when I read the title was, "Aw, now I hate the f'ing POS even more".
Why oh why does Microsoft think any of us want the stupid thing in the first place?
I know I don't.
Ugh!
Yup.
I like Gears of War waaaaaaay more than Halo.
If there ever was a way for me to play it on PS4, I'd love to hear about it!
Say what you will, I still enjoy booting up Black Ops 2 every now & then to "blast up some fools".
It's a great stress reliever & it's a simple enough game where you don't have to re-learn the controls every time you play the game.
I had a great time playing yesterday-- my team always won & one guy kept trash talking just enough to make me laugh inside.
On the other hand, it was shocking to me just how many y...
At first I thought this was real-- then I kept reading on.
This was a truly excellent post.
What, only 5g for this one? "For Life Yo (5g) - Buy your 2nd Xbox One".
That made me think back to all those old fashioned white Xbox 360s that RROD, their disc trays wouldn't open, their USB Ports stopped working & the little access doors on the front of the machines actually fell off at one time or another.
Fortunat...
I know.
Just listed my last Xbox 360 Slim 250GB on Craigslist & deleted my credit card info from Xbox Live.
I had to accept Microsoft's new Terms of Agreement just to cancel my payment options.
Oh well, I'll soon be rid of all MS's BS soon enough!
Keeping my PS3 Slim for movie streaming, playing PS+ games & leveling up on Black Ops 2 until the PS4 arrives.
If I have to keep all my GameStop...
I'm so disappointed in myself.
I immediately preordered a PS4 the day after the price was announced during E3.
After Microsoft did all the 180s, I cancelled my PS4 preorder & got the Xbox One Day One preordered, instead.
Now I'm hating myself because I simply can't justify paying more $ for such a "gimped" system.
I went back to Gamestop to try to get my PS4 preorder back & they said that was a n...
For me, the PS3 stays, while Xbox 360 goes onto Craigslist.
Sorry Xbox -- PS + just has too much going for it right now.
Yeah-- I really like it, too!
Sorry fellas-- the Xbox version looks "brighter" & "clearer" to me.
I've always thought the screenshots on the back of PS3 covers looked "muddy" & "blurred" to me-- say what you will, MY eyes like the Xbox version better.
Yup, yup!!!
Definitely next-gen.
PS+ has me covered until next month & then after both cosoles have been released, all hell's breaking loose!
That's kind of where I'm at-- had the PS4 preordered the day after E3 started-- changed it to Xbox One after all the 180s-- (DOH!).
Now, I feel real bad because of all the bad news that continually comes from Microsoft's direction-- I mean, it just doesn't stop does it?
I'm to the point where I just want to feel the controllers in my own hands, see the results of side by side comparisons and see for myself what the benchmark tests have to ...
Woah.
It's pretty bad when your wife is saying, "I mean, maybe he can get a real job now."
Sounds like she's not too happy with his career choice-- or the way his career choice makes him feel about himself.
I'm seeing lights & sirens here boys, it looks like Adam's about to have a meltdown either with the gaming community, the game developers, the video game console manufacturers-- or worse yet, with his wife. <...
I really wanted to try a Panasonic Plasma 60 that I printed out a Walmart ad online for.
The price was $619 on the ad, but after the customer service gal several managers, all I got was the run around about how they couldn't sell it for so cheap even though I had the ad in my hand and they saw it for themselves online.
Needless to say, I took my money elsewhere.
