Let's just hope no poor unsuspecting parent buys this for their 4 year old child thinking its the usual Wii affair.

We don't need anymore Columbine incidents especially with an army of children armed to the teeth with Wii controllers.

Now that is just silly.

Which one is more hardcore:

Uncharted or Gears of War?

Mortal Kombat is definitely the beat em up of the year for me.

Kenshi is crazy! His alt costume should be Neo's long coat from the Matrix.

Yeah water has been done well in games on aesthetic level but they have hardly changed on the physics side of things.

Realistically behaving water is most likely the hardest thing to code for. Hopefully the next gen will herald more realistic water physics.

I agree with you with the vast majority of what you're saying mate but my point was directed towards people who claim that Microsoft is supposedly completely abandoning the hardcore crowd. That is far from true at this early stage.

People are making sweeping statements and it cannot be denied that this year's E3 is a reason for that (and arguably rightly so).

My point on unnecessary skepticism was with regard to people's jabs at Microsoft in gener...

To assume at such an early stage that Microsoft is abandoning its hardcore crowd is frankly ridiculous.

What is prompting you guys to say this is the strong emphasis on Kinect at this year's E3.

With regard to your comment about very little reason for a core owner owning a 360, I think you clearly miss the point. Having owned all current gen consoles and being a 'core gamer', the 360 is still the clear console of choice for me. I don't have to...

I'm sorry but anyone who says Microsoft have abandoned the hardcore userbase is clearly someone who confuses rumour and conjecture for facts. Yes, there was a strong Kinect focus this year but that doesn't necessarily mean that exclusives and hardcore games aren't forthcoming.

People need to get out of the N4G bubble and realise that Microsoft has a strong line up of games even if they are multi platform and exclusives that are to be reckoned with. Their online s...

Almost everyone uses Raiden and Kabal all the time? Odd, i don't come across them that much at all. Kabal actually got buffed in this weeks patch (whilst Raiden got nerfed).

Yeah the game hardly lags for me now.

Having played this online a lot since release on the 360, I have to say that this week's patch has made online so much better. King of the Hill games used to be unplayable before but now they hardly lag at all.

Also, the button delay has been reduced greatly so you can actually pull off intricate combos.

Bear in mind that this is still a service we pay for. Gamers have nothing to benefit from advertisements, no matter how interactive.

I'm more than aware of the features of Xbox Live (we don't get ESPN or Netflix). I'm not happy about adverts but am happy about the other elements. So don't tell me there are alternatives. I'm aware of what they are.

Before you try and school someone about Xbox Live, try and read and understand the point be...

Really?? Funny considering how rabid Sony fanboys (of whom you seem to be one of) outnumber their 360 counterparts by a ratio of 3-1 on this site.

Troll-spotting aside, we get shafted compared to the US too many times. This is a joke.

With regard to Mortal Kombat, even some 360 players had problems with downloading content. Nothing regarding price though.

It's a clever move to reel in companies to advertise but hey, nevermind us gamers....its not like we are paying for the service.......oh wait

Oh no you didn't! Xbox 360 has more hackers? In the 1.5 years I've played the game I've come across hackers on only 3 occasions.

On the PS3, I remember 80% of games being hacked. No lie! I think this was prior to an update being released a few months ago. Nonetheless, it was chaos. The hackers were even advertising hacks on the little newsfeed at the bottom of the lobby. I know someone who had his prestige rank reset....he was not pleased.

It was ...
