I was interested in ME2 at E3, so I picked up ME1 for $15 used, and I'm on my third playthrough!! Such a great game with an amazing plot. It's definitely up there in my top 10 games for sure!! Getting this with Dante's Inferno, God of War 3, Final Fantasy 13, and whatever other great games come out next year Q1-Q2!!!

Ubi seems to really know what didn't work before. It's great to see that they're making some changes that will hopefully turn out for the better. And the whole economic system looks promising. I really can't wait for this one, it'll be sweet!!!

I never played Final Fantasy XI, and I don't really play MMO's, but this may actually be good. I'll just have to see some gameplay, which will ultimately be the deciding factor.

Haha!! That's a pretty good plan and yeah, I guess it does add a lot of tension. When you kill a guy, hear the grenade drop, and see the grenade marker, you better run like hell!!!! xD

Oh, really? Well I heard that they're putting a bigger emphasis on Ezio's life story and adding more character progression, so I figured they would go more linear because it's easier to advance a story that way. If you're right (I trust you, don't worry), I bet they'll make it more like sandboxes where there are side quests, and then there are story quests (inFamous is a recent example). Thanks for the info, helps a lot!! :D
I'd at least rent it. Ubi said they pretty much reconstructed the entire layout, making it more linear and hopefully killing the repetiveness. Now if you didn't like AC1 because of the concept or story, then go ahead and avoid it if that's not your cup of tea. But if you were turned off only because of the repetitivness, then look more into it, you may like it this time around. :)
If this is what the game will look like as a finished product, then I don't see why people are complaining. It's shaping up to be a great game, and I'm definitely looking forward to it with an optimistic frame of mind.
Well of course MW2 and ODST are gonna sell like crazy (especially MW2), but I'm not as psyched for thoughs as I am for games like Assassin's Creed 2 and Uncharted 2. And then there are the games I wish got more publicity, like Alpha Protocol and Demon's Souls. I'm really looking forward to those to, but I wish more people knew about them. They look great!
The hype for this game is slowly going away as well, although I'll still get it for sure. The gameplay still looks great, and even though it doesn't look as good as it did earlier, it still looks amazing. It just won't be a day one buy for me...
We haven't even played any of these games!!!
