Yeah both are extremely fun fighting games with lots of depth for those looking to search for tech. The only edge I'd give to KI is the netcode.

I just feel no matter what fighting game it is people refuse to put in the necessary time or effort to practice and get down the basic mechanics.

@Lighter

Yeah KI is definitely easier to play than MK. But Easier =/= Less Fun. Nor does it mean that it's easy to beat someone who knows what the...

I sincerely hope that Gengar being in doesn't hurt Haunters chances of making it into the game, but damn! I'm getting pretty excited for this! :D

Yeah, and most mods are probably going to stay free. But if I can set a price I'll pull in help. Maybe a few more modelers and animators. Maybe even a writer and make something EPIC! What the profit mods allowed for was to expand modding. But all of you got your panties in a bunch because you were afraid every mod was gonna start costing 4.99 or some crap.

So in other words "You're going to do it anyway, so why support you?"

Sad.

But Ben always had that higher pitch to his voice, and has always been a little cocky. Overall I love the new Cinder, but I will agree he is very reminiscent of Ben 10s flame guy.

What this basically says is "Screw you artists. You have no say whether or not your work has any value."

Once again feeding this mentality in gaming where if anything is sold separately from the game it's supposed to be 100% absolutely free with absolutely no support for the artists making it. Whether it be this, DLC, or microtransactions. All I'm going to say is it should surprise no one when one day the people who put time and effort into making things... ...

Now that Pruple guys dead, I'm guessing we'll finally find out the role of Shadow Bonnie and Golden Freddie in this whole scheme. Color me excited! :D

No. anytime you disagree with a Conservative they cry and bitch that they aren't getting their way. Simple example, Kung Jin isn't running around exclaiming "Be gay! Convert! Convert!" he simply makes even the faintest hint as to how his life has been and yet you're crying about a "pro-gay agenda".

Funnily enough it's pointing out how being gay has made his life more difficult, and yet that's "pro-gay"...

@Rachel

The fact that you think that a pretty good armor set is "crappy" is exactly why consumers should not regulate whether artists can charge for their stuff.

@ninja

I'm really glad that you brought those up. Because do you think those studios walked away unscathed? The amount of damage to those studios reputation was massive. And if you think people will forgive things made by a single artist, two words; Phil Fish.

I'm very much in favor for the ability to charge for mods, but I completely agree. The profit margin needs to be reversed, and Valve needs to step in and do some verification. But then again verification is ALWAYS been Steams biggest issue. Just look at Greenlight. Letting the community do what should be Valves job.

If the mod is crappy who do you honestly think is going to buy it? Where are you all getting this insane idea that simply because a mod is made it's going to be bought? Like seriously I need to know where this absolutely crazy idea comes from.

@fallacious

Actually, yes a good amount of modders have wanted this for a while. Most modders modders would like to spring into a full on career but this industry is VERY hard to crack into.

3704d ago 0 agree11 disagreeView comment

@fallacious

Yes, that is exactly what's going to happen. Games are only going to get rough geometric shapes as characters and will now cost 400$ a day to play. Gaming is ruined, the past time you know and love is dying. All because an artist wanted to get paid for their work.

3704d ago 2 agree15 disagreeView comment

Seeing how viciously you seem to hate any thing gay, can you imagine how a character being gay may cause some conflict in their life at some point. It got brought up because it bothered him enough to leave home. I love how you can be the very example of why it might get brought up but at the same time be completely ignorant of it.

@Yi

No one forces musicians to make music, and yet when they do it would benefit them to be paid to continue to do so.

And to some modders that's the only thing they're good at. So why not make a living in it?

How would you feel if you went to work tomorrow and were told "we're not paying you anymore, you should just love to do this"

Then turn it up? Crazy concept but volume has what's known as an "increase" function. Revolutionary tech from last CES
