Microsoft’s goal with Series X is catering to folks that want the highest fidelity/performance on console and are willing to pay s an extra $50-100. After the PS5 specs reveal it is confirmed that their goal has been accomplished.
PS5 is more economically friendly and will undoubtedly sell...

Personally, I will pick up series x first because most of the games I play are multiplat but I will absolutely pick up ps5 later so I don’t miss out on the inevitable exclusives. I mean I want GTA 6 in full throttle on my 4K tv with the exception of PC mods s year later.

Honestly, people don’t wanna hear it but you explained it perfectly. Devs have to assume lowest common denominator for theoretical power or else they could dun goof. They don’t have the time to maximize TFLOPS in every scenario.

I was so pumped about this then I watched it. Sony looks very weak right now. Cerny kept talking about his experience being so great with titles that they can’t even be bothered to name? This was their chance to show some games and take leverage away from Microsoft while everyone is stuck indoors. Instead they shit themselves and it was embarrassing to watch.
I'm really confused as to why the world shuts down over a virus that kills less than .2% of its carreiers? The swine flue ,remember that ? That infected 22 million Americans and killed over 12,000 Americans alone yet there was no mass panic like this. I pray for the lives lost from this but I am genuinely concerned we are headed for a major recession over something akin to the common cold.
I almost wonder if that's why Microsoft has a live stream next week. Perhaps they knew beforehand and they're taking advantage of the empty void left by Sony. Perhaps Philly decided to move it up. I still doubt it though.
