You might be able to resist the GTX 1080 and Polaris this year but next year the GTX 1080 Ti and Vega will be hard to resist.
Be very competitive, Yes.
Dominate, No.
I just sold my Gigabyte GeForce GTX 980 Ti G1 Gaming for $597.23. Lets just say Uncharted 4 could not have released at a better time than this and hopefully the GTX 1080 will indeed be 50% faster than the GTX 980 Ti otherwise I sold a perfectly good card for no reason at all.
In your dreams
Looks like it will be Forza: Horizon 3 vs Gran Turismo: Sport
You can play both these games at 4k/60fps quite easily on PC. Now that is good reason to play these games again and you can get both these games for $2.5 each.
Not only does it look unbelievable it runs unbelievably good as well. 4k/60fps and max settings on a single 980 Ti is an amazing achievement from Turn 10 Studios. Finally demonstrating the true power of DX12.
Max Payne 2
PC + Console gaming crushes Mobile gaming.
No. Next crappy article please.
Microsoft do you want to see 500% growth. Port Halo TMCC, Halo 5, Forza Horizon 1 & 2, Sunset Overdrive, Gear of War 2, 3 & Judgement and Rare Replay.
The Advanced options are locked in the beta. The final game will allow you to tweak a lot of graphical settings.
PS4 = 1080p/30fps, High settings
My PC = 3k/50-60fps, Very High settings
The performance seems fine to me. But then again I am using an overclocked 980 Ti. Can't say how it runs on 970s, 980s or AMD cards.
The PS4 will not allow the PSVR to unleash the beast like a high-end PC powering the Rift And Vive will.
*Correction*
23.5/3 = 7.83 Million a year.
Max Payne 2 was better.
Of course it does.
Oh dear, this does not look good for the future of consoles in the US. 3 years and the combined sales are only 23.5 million. That's 11.2 million a year. No wonder we are hearing rumors of Xbox Next and PS4K already.
Rock$tar: Civil War
GTX 1080 Ti is not going to come later this year but is expected to come in Q1 2017 along with AMD's Vega chip.
