clearly there is enough of a demand for both: for the ps3 its impressive how well its done at such lofty prices, and for the 360 its amazing how it still sells well even though microsofts reputation for quality products (see vista and rrod) has gone down the drain

sony will support the ps3 for 10 years just like the ps2, so when the ps3 hits middle age they will launch the ps4, and market both ps3 and ps4 at the same time, just like they do now with the ps2 and ps3.
