i really don't think that sony was the "winner" at E3....they focused on 2008 lineups (what a surprise, sony telling everyone of titles that MIGHT not get delayed in 2008) while microsoft focused on the CURRENT year and titles they are bringing NOW for people to play.
all you sony fanboys are acting as if when 2008 rolls around, that the 360 is not going to have any games released....i'll be enjoying the great games that are being released NOW, instead of HOPING that ...

almost NOBODY cares about lossless audio, and do you know why?? it is because there are very FEW people that are willing to pay thousands of dollars so that they can get an almost imperceivable increase in sound clarity. things like lossless audio are more for people that pay attention to specs, rather than actual real world performance....for the REAL consumer, they don't care about lossless audio. you can disagree with me if you want, but think about this rationally, how many average cons...
um, selling 400,000 in ONE WEEK is not really considered a FLOP, since MOST GREAT GAMES sell that many in one month....according to you, every single game that has come out on the 360 and ps3, aside from Gears of War, is a flop......again, 400,000 was for ONE WEEK!!!

i agree, wouldn't it be IMPOSSIBLE for him to get a new 360 that was manufactured on 8-15-07 already??? they ship these things from china, and i don't think they would be shipping it directly from the factory to this guys house.... i think MOST people would have taken a picture of the back showing it was manufactured on 8-15-07 if they were pointing that out specifically in the article....
every single 360 manufactured starting towards mid-june has been manufactured with the added heatsink, along with all refurbs also...thats why again this story seems a bit unlikely...
the reason this seems HIGHLY unlikely from a brand new xbo360 manufactured 8-15-07 is because the 3 red ring of death happens when the 360 starts overheating and then the motherboard warps a bit which causes the gpu connections to pull away from each other.....the warping of the motherboard is not something that would happen within 20 minutes, or even within 20 hours...
um, i think you may be a little confused...the 65nm chips are NOT going to give any performance boost. that is simply a change in size for the processors, it has NOTHING to do with increased performace. the benefits of switching from 90nm to 65nm chips is that they run cooler, use less power to run, and cost much less to manufacture. again, switching from 90nm to 65nm has ZERO impact on performance...
i think most people can confidently say that as soon as there are no more 60gb ps3 in store, the 80gb ps3 price will go down to $499...there is ZERO chance sony would be willing to jump back up to the $599 price point after seeing sales jump when it cut the 60gb price to $499.
i'm sure it has fixed a few. but they do one odd thing at the end of this "fix-it" remedy that others have been doing to fix their 360's WITHOUT voiding their warranties by cracking open their cases...it's called the towel fix. this article also tells you to bake your 360 to get the exact same thing to happen that you do with the towel trick, overheat your 360 to melt the gpu solder back into place.....and again, they have "proven" this as a fix from 2 months of experien...
i cant believe people have bid up to $52 to play a LIMITED-TIME BETA!!!!! the game comes out November 5th, and the beta will probably be up for one month....some people have WAY too much uber-nerd blood running in their veins lol
okay, so instead of getting your console repaired FREE for 3 years, you are taking a chance by a DO-IT-YOURSELF fix??? the instructions tell you to wedge a scredriver between the x-clamp and motherboard to loosen the x-clamp!! so if you manage not to put a scratch and possibly damage your motherboard or other component on the motherboard, you are then asked to use pliers to "gently" pull the rest of the x-clamp off the motherboard...yeah, so far this sounds like a great idea.........

completely agree with you...the box art is pretty cool looking, but i am not a big fan of the green and orange/bronze color of the 360....that would lose it's "charm" after staring at it for like 2 minutes in my entertainment console lol
