I think that's what really happened here. This company didn't follow the proper procedures and aquire the proper license agreement and got smacked for it.
I think companies like Madcatz need licenses to make controllers because they actually interface with the device. But these were just pieces of plastic that fit into slots of another device, in a sense. I don't see how Sony has any legal ground here. But of course the company is gonna just cut its losses instead of fight out of fear of legal ramifications and cost.
Ubisoft and a game they crap out every year, should Not be taken as any kind of indicatior. Especially right now when everything took a hit through most of this year with working from home. Either they didnt have time to optimize or didn't bother.
Finally!! This has kept me up for months. I can now sleep soundly knowing this information.
Agreed. I think if there's 1 acquisition they NEED to make, it's them.
Just spin a wheel at this point. Lol.
I remember seeing the $71.99 price and wasn't sure if I really needed the Deluxe edition. But for $64, why not?! It's only $4 more cuz the regular edition doesn't have a discount.
What do they care? Tons of people will buy it anyway. Similar with EA and FIFA/Madden, it's gonna sell, it's gonna make a ton. No point dumping tons of money and resources. They know their audience after all these years, and they know exactly what they can get away with.
Yea. The reason for no new GTA is purely because they are Still, after how many years, raking in money in GTA online. GTA V is still in top sales charts every month. And the online game brings in so much cash. There's no reason to rush the next installment.
Like Inverno said, it's not about the quality, Nintendo is all about quality in their games. But it's about what they want and how they want it, with no input what so ever from their fans. If they cared even a shred what the fans want, they would've put out Mother 3 that fans have been begging for for years. Metroid would have a bigger presence in their library rotation. Their online system would be much improved. We would have an eshop equivalent in the Switch. And so many other ...
Nintendo and Game Freak don't give a damn what you or anyone wants. You're gonna get what they give you and you'll either eat it up like the loyal fans do or you won't and you can complain all you want. Either way, they aren't listening.
Who the hell is Travis Scott?
You know it's coming. There will be "Commercial Breaks" in these sports games. Just wait for it.
Unless Microsoft hijacks all of Sony shipments, there's no way this is even possible let alone probable.
It's one of the reasons why I wait a few months before buying a game. By then they've released several patches fixing any problems.
The other is to wait for price drops. Why am I gonna pay $60 for a game possibly full of bugs when I can just wait a few months and pay $40 or less for the game when it's fixed.
Sadly, the games animations are dependent on and directly tied to the framerate. It's why it never got a PS4 Pro upgrade. This was posted with better detail then I can give a good while back. So unless they make some big changes to the core programming, it'll still be locked at 30fps.

"The idea is presumably that bots will see the higher price and ignore it, plus they won’t be able to use the necessary voucher code, as that requires a manual input."
That's actually pretty smart, and pretty funny.
We finally getting Sneak King 2?!
The local Dairy Queen. First we get some Ice Cream. But afterwards..... we raise holy hell!!
I literally just played and beat the campaign the other day after it sitting in my PS+ for a long time. It was awesome! I now get what everyone was talking about. I hope they get to make a 3rd.
It just sucks EA screwed them with that original release window.
