I mean when you have a game that runs @ 30fps (sometimes less), that took long dev many reports, that have screen tearing, that runs @ 640p (sub HD then, on an HD console), a game that was supposed to be an open world but appeared to be a generic TPS with a messy scenario and you judge it deserves an 8, i think you are motivated by the atmosphere of the game and the reserch of coffee thermos in the forest to give it a decent score.

And i gave you my opinion about this review and the fact that with reviews on your zine of other games that took a long way to be developed and released you were more indulgent whereas the global features and finition of GT5 are by far as good as the games you gave more decent scores.

I think the format of criticism used for GT5 is not the same with other games, it's so obvious that the game had a special treatment that it makes me wonder why reviewers don't use the same tool to review other games.
It's the "lenght of dev" syndrome, i've just take the exemple of Alan Wake only for this to compare the exigence that one can have about a game and the other not.

I think an other game with an other name who would not be a GT would have got more than 8+ or 9 by presenting the same amount of features.
This game is the most underated game of this generation with Deadly Premonition, Demon Soul and Yakuza on consoles.
Hope one day people could note Halo with the same level of criticism they did with GT5, because new halo games must be the most overated games of this generation.

It's a beat them all with a funny scenario, lot of customization, lot of mini games, much more hours of gameplay than many other beat them all, a real arcade feeling. An ambitious and hybrid game more interesting that what we are constantly playing when we play a regular beat them all.
I think it's for all these reasons that this type of game deserves more attention.

Japanese video game industry must consider traduction in development time of their games.
Not a total traduction of all voice acting etc but just subtitles in english to have the potential to be played outside of Japan.
The big failure of this generation for japanese gaming industry is that they believe they only can sell game by copying occidental games and their gameplay.
