It sucks that this is the case cuz for somebody like me who have control over them, I'd wish more games would implement R2L2 and eve R3L3 on the bottom halves of the rare touch pad. Because they work perfectly for me.
Might not happen but I wish in future updates Vita would have a built in customized button config on the system level and not depend on every game to implement this or hard locked to type ...

if you actually played the game or "ran around" you would know that there are more than a couple of place you could go first before even fighting a boss, or the other boss whichever you were talking about, if you actually played it.
Almost all of them have a dead line to meet, if a game slows down their schedule they are not going to like it period.
Playing a game rushed is almost always going to decrease the enjoyment, plus many of them actually suck at games compared to the average gamer from my observation.
Also a lot of them are reviewing games w/ genres they don't even enjoy to begin with, they have to review it cuz they were sent the game and it's just another paycheck to review.

You can level up, find weapons, level up weapons, call people for help, explore many other areas first if you can't get past one in particular.
