It's unfortunate, because Gears 1 MP was pretty badass. It seems many large holiday releases hit the mentality of "ship now, patch later." Not a good trend I feel.
I'm winning. Why? Cuz I'm a gamer. I play games. I don't own stock in Sony, Nintendo, or MS. If they move another 20,000 units than the competition, it doesn't affect me.

I'm sure someone will misread this but... again, how does stuff like this get past QA on a tentpole title? I mean really, this is just silly. It wasn't okay when it happened to Socom, it's not okay with Fable 2 (though I appreciate their somewhat quick fix) and it's not okay here.

I think the CONCEPT of DLC is great. The practice, however, leaves much to be desired, especially in pricing.

No, I call biased EVERY WEBSITE because PEOPLE ARE INHERENTLY BIASED. It's stupid cases of playing favorites. I don't care if they are slamming LBP or Fable 2, it's stupid, and it's not news, its a bunch of stupid uneducated and unethical "writers" harping about why everything sucks as they collect a paycheck. And "gamers" eat it up. We're to blame for the state of the game media, and it needs to change.
I have to agree Meus. I can't think of a single time before this generation where I saw so much time spent on NPD numbers, sales ratios, YTD, etc. I remember talking about games. The SNES was better because it had Mega Man X and Contra 3, not because it sold 20,000 more units than the Genesis. And even if we thought the SNES WAS better, we weren't afraid to go to a friend's house and play the Genesis, and gasp... have fun!
