Define success? If they mean more successful than the original Xbox, sure. But they aren't going to touch Nintendo or even Sony, at least not this gen.
Again? Don't people get sick of writing, reading, submitting, and arguing this same old crap?
Here - PS3 could use a price drop. If it gets one in 2009, sales will pick up.
There. Lather, Rinse, Repeat ad nauseum.
Once again Cherrypie, thank you for proving without a doubt that Titanic is THE greatest film of all time, since sales are all that matter.
God, fanboys like you are pretty damn sad. Thanks for the laugh.
I'm anxious for this title. Hopefully they announce the PS3 port soon.
Zoknowsgaming?
Zo Knows Sh1t apparently.
Tomb Raider 360 not in HD and without real time dynamic shadowing, but looks better than PS3?
1) Who cares anyways, the game was crap?
2) No.
Heihachi was last seen in Soul Calibur 2?
Ummmm.... no. Definitely NOT.
Does ANYONE do research any more?
Well... I kinda think the character animation/models in Crysis look a bit like ass.
Sorry, but the last thing I want is to have to subscribe to every goddamn thing on the planet. What's next, Subscription Based Toilets?
I have to agree. Again.
Hell, if they can make it a DL pack, I'm all for it!
(Insert 3rd Party Company Name here) bring us new multiplataform games and you'll see real good profit
My number one hope for LBP2?
More complex enemy types. IE - Evil Sackboys. Characters you program to do simple routines as obstacles in levels. I think that right there would be a significant upgrade to the series.
You mean like CNet? Or Viacom? Or partnering with MTV? Oh wait, that's all MS! Silly me!
Regardless of how good or bad this game is, it WILL be nitpicked to death in reviews. Reviewers will bring up issues that are nicely glossed over in other contemporary FPS reviews. Which is kind of sad, a game is no longer reviewed on the merits of the title itself, but rather on the hype. You know, the hype that these media outlets themselves have created?
And THAT is yet another reason that "game journalism" fails.
Another piss poor FPS like Halo 3? Then it should score wonderfully.
God that game was horrid, Bungie has done better and I expected better.
You know, it is possible to dislike certain choices without "hating" the entire site. My issue is with the review system in general.
Example - I dislike Kotaku's attitude, but I love their review system. Likes/Dislikes/How much they played/ No score. Totally awesome way to do it.
I like Gamespots review categories, its stuff that mattered, like best bosses, best moment, best character, etc. Stuff that we play games for.
I liked Gamespot's Awards Categories. While I may not agree with them, and think for the most part their reviews are iffy at best for multiple reasons, I hope we see MORE awards criteria like they posted. IE - best character, best bosses, best moment, etc. The REASON we play games!
I don't get why anyone trusts review SCORES and not REVIEWS themselves as a way to INFORM you of a purchase. All we get is tools who do their best to JUDGE something they never played.
Yes Tato, because the ONLY biased sites are the ones with "Playstation" or "Xbox" in their URL. I guess YOU must have missed the memo on... oh I don't know... 90% of sites out there like Gamespot, 1up, IGN, etc.
