Before January of this year, we didn't even know what games would there be for the Switch during 2017; at most, we had a reasonable suspicion Zelda BOTW would launch in 2017, but that was it.
We didn't know about Mario Odyssey, Splatoon 2, ARMS, Mario + Rabbids, Fire Emblem Warriors, Pokken DX, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Xenoblade 2. All of these games were announced in January and afterwards. All of these released whitin the year.
Nintendo has had its ...
I do. Storage is an issue with the Switch due to its portable nature. Therefore, I think it's more practical to buy games in physical format whenever possible and reserve the internal storage and micro SD card space for strictly digital content (DLC, patches, indie games, digital downloads of bigger games, etc).
That way, a 128 or 200 GB card will last you a long while, it's even possible you won't need to buy aditional storage after that. But if you decide to g...
Unlike these other guys, I don't respect your opinion in the slightest because all you do is troll every single damn Nintendo related topic you put your eyes on.
Lol at you trying to discredit Zelda BOTW and Mario Odyssey, the two best rated exclusive games of this generation. GTFO, you pathetic troll.
Pro Controller isn't needed at all.
You liar. I went to whateverwebsite.com and there was nothing there about making $7898.09 per hour.
:(
Uh, nope.
Wow at the disagrees. The truth stings, doesn't it?
The bias towards Sony on this website is ridiculous.
I just wanted to address this point:
"Nintendo owners have to wait literally months for good releases, while Sony has a fantastic new release almost every month."
Release month: game (Metacritic score)
March: Zelda BOTW (97), FAST RMX (81), Snipperclips (84)
April: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (92)
June: ARMS (77)
July: Splatoon 2 (83)
August: Slime-San (82), Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle (85)
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Fire Emblem Warriors, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, ARMS.
I honestly don't understand why people like you are so defensive about this (and I say this as someone who has a Wii U and loves it).
Just look at my reply to roadkillers above.
Yes, redeemed from the Wii U. I have one and I loved its games, but if the console didn't sell it was because people didn't find the hardware appealing.
In all honesty, the catalog of games in the Switch isn't that different from the Wii U's, but ultimately, you don't only sell hardware through software (although software also plays a big part on that). The hardware itself needs to be appealing to the consumers as well, and Wii U was avoided like a hot s...
Vita and PSP aren't the same as Switch. PSP had TV play functionality, yes, (I don't know for sure about VIta, I thought it didn't), but it isn't implemented anywhere near the level that Switch does.
You're right that the Switch is, by form and definition, a portable first and foremost, but trying to downplay it by putting it in the same level as a PSP is silly.
"Only two interesting games"
1. Zelda BOTW
2. Mario Odyssey
3. Splatoon 2
4. Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle
5. Fire Emblem Warriors
6. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
7. ARMS
8. Pókken Tournament DX
9. Splatoon 2
10. Xenoblade Chronicles 2
It seems you have some trouble counting, son.
Yes. An awesome handheld at that, and one that you can also treat as a home console if you want.
:D
Great list. If you never bothered with the Wii U, you're in for a treat with MK 8 Deluxe, especially considering that version is much better than the original.
I suggest you try Splatoon 2, as well. I never played the first one, so Splatoon 2 is my first entry in the series, and let me tell you, man... this game is FUN. The single player campaign is forgettable, but the online multiplayer is superb.
I'm going to grab my copy of Xenoblade 2 tonight...
I'm highly curious here. What are those 5 games that they've released that made / will make you buy a Switch? :D
Are you saying Kratos is immortal because he's the God of War? Because that didn't turn out so good for Ares, did it? :P
So, you and Foxtrot and a few other select privileged individuals are right, while the rest of the gaming population and critics (say, about 95%) are wrong.
Gotcha.
Oh don't worry, Foxtrot has plenty of salt to take your opinion with. XD XD XD
Wii U is the exception to the rule regarding price cuts. Every single other system from Nintendo, handheld or home console, has dropped in price several times during their lifespans.
Also, the only extra you will definitely need is a micro SD card. Which is true for every modern portable gaming device, because you can't put a hard drive disk to a handheld.
You don't need to buy the Pro Controller if you don't want to (joycons on the grip work ...
