Maybe he just wanted to retire? The guy has been with Capcom since 1987. I think most of N4G wasn't even around then. I mean I know a lot of Japanese businessmen tend to die at the job (so to speak), but it's a trend that's slowly dying. Maybe he just wants to be with his family? I'm sure based on how fast Platinum makes their games that there's a lot of crunch time.
It's called power fantasy. Most male gamers are not the most alpha of folks, and this is pretty true of this community as well, but they can vicariously live as the big strong men they'll never be in video games. I think most women can agree that being sexy is nice, but it's also mostly something just for eye candy. They essentially want their version of the male power fantasy which I described before, and attractiveness isn't really a big part of seeming strong. A lot of the ...
Man, I can't wait to stand in line for two hours to play it this weekend :P
I didn't say it was my wedding
Have you tried it yet? I recommend getting to a PAX or some event that would have them there.
Sony has pretty much said it does exist at this point.
Having tried the Rift (DK1 and DK2), Google Cardboard, and now owning a Gear VR I can say it's something everyone should try. There's an amazing future on its way, and VR is the key to it. The games become just so much more immersive, and can affect you physically. It's super weird when an object gets close to your face too. I'll say the only thing that is holding things back are current resolutions. There's a bit of a screen door effect, but it doesn't hurt the experi...
On a unrelated note I want to see a real life wedding themed after Dark Souls. I'm sure it would be...interesting.
I'm happy to hear they did good. Not my favorite, but it was a fun game.
There was always a big console gaming scene in China, but most had to spend most by going through the grey market. However you are right in some respect, such as the crazy standards the Chinese government imposes on games are pretty crazy.
Well besides pushing these games, you're also wasting YOUR money when you could be supporting a better game.
That's true about the budget, but not your money. Both games will be $60. Would you really give your $60 to Extreme 3 or Nioh?
I mean I don't agree with buying lame DLC, but it's possible. I recommend going to play-asia, and getting a code for PSN there. They sell codes for PSN monies and PS+ in other regions (or at least they did).
It's a bikini. It's flesh colored with red stuff on the edges that give it the illusion. Sorry to ruin it for you :P
I just don't want companies thinking they can make an easy buck off us with shovelware. That or trying to exploit us with boobage instead of giving us a good game. The money they used to make this could have gone to Nioh!
The problem is you're voting for bad/mediocre games with your money.
Yeah, I have this thought with a lot of game characters like that one of Ivy in Soul Calibur (4 or 5?). Though in this case if you look carefully you'll notice it's flesh colored with a red border.
Yeah, I feel the same way RustedMan. I also agree with zen_hydra, and have said the same thing (and have the disagrees to prove it :P)
If people want their bad game they can have it. Just more money in out pockets for better games from studios/publishers that don't use shameless DLC practices.
They're off playing better games (like Darksouls 3), and not paying for crappy DLC.
How about we just bring back arcades?
I think the thing you might be forgetting is that the prices you're providing are consumer prices. Microsoft will not be paying those prices. I can't tell you the exact price it costs to make each GPU in a factory, but I can assure you it's under $100. This is because the cost of all the parts (and Chinese labor) is not that much on a bulk scale, Microsoft will be probably paying a little more than that for each. The reason we pay that much on our end is for a few reasons. Transpo...
