You're right I thought about that too, or they would have literally nothing to even talk about for it yet except for just the idea. But this is also good because it's a done deal for now and if it makes some money for disney, I doubt they won't want Sony to do another one for free cash.
Edit - if sony shows them they can put out, they might just give Sony the star wars license when it's time to renew it for EA.
Sony already said they are helping with development and funding, it's a bit different than just a crowd funded game that was kinda rushed out.
Sony has already announced a couple new games before e3 and they have more current games being developed. Sony likes to spread out their releases and gameplay videos, Microsoft buys a game and immediately shouts from rooftops.
I kinda agree, we need to see actual gameplay and know exactly what's going on with it. I just hope it doesn't go out like evolve.
I feel you, I also think ubisoft would be a decent choice, or at least a better choice of the big 3 publishers.
I enjoyed minecraft when it came out and it was worth it. I haven't played it in years, but it's something everyone should at least try.
I really love the single player games like God of War and the last of us on ps4, and it would be interesting if playstation would want to make an online game like destiny or dare I say it.. Anthem. But the writer did kind of mention how most playstation games are suspiciously single player. It's fine, and I think they should continue doing it, just branching out a little with a couple multiplayer focused games.

Lol resogun was better than CD3. Days Gone is actually worthy of being a PS exclusive. I know because I played it and am one of the many millions of ps4 GAMERS, not journalists that enjoyed it and am confused as to why the journalists hated it.
Also Skyrim has been touted as being super successful and selling on refridgeraters and Amazon alexas, and it's only sold like 30 million copies. People have to literally be rebuying gta v to get these numbers.

Yeah but why would someone who wants to pirate a game buy it a week before its free for them? If they know it will be cracked, as every game gets cracked, an extra week or two is worth the wait.
I'm not sure why denuvo is a thing still. It gets cracked in days and makes the games run way worse for the life cycle of the game.

Making a terrible online beta was disruptive to their business.
