I have it on the PC and the game is essentially unplayable at the moment, so you're definitely going to want to wait for a patch or two. I don't get the texture popping, but I have all of these texture "spikes" that eventually get so bad I can't see. Someone suggested overheating, but the card is cooler then when I play the BF3 beta, so it's not that.. I just think the PC version launched with some absolutely terrible driver support.
The lack of opti...
haha "people have been asking for flash to go 3D since versions 2 or 3." I think it took them a bit longer than it should have, but better late than never, right?
Can't argue with that. I enjoy myself a glass of whiskey quite regularly while gaming, especially war games. Shoot people and drinking straight Scotch or Bourbon is what makes a man outta ya.
Indeed, It's got an amazing style... It's incredibly frustrating at times, but the game has quite a few shining moments.
I wonder if we are going to see this engine first in an MGS game, or if he's got something bigger planned for it. I know Kojima has been talking about other projects recently. Either way, it is going to be an interesting bit of information when it finally comes out.
I remember playing all the original Crysis mods that were released. I can wait to get my hands on something the community has whipped up for us.
this will be an interesting bit to watch. I hear good things about this game.
I don't mind that they are offering their games in other places, that's fine, but I don't feel like going through all the growing pains and problems that Steam had all over again, especially with a company that is notorious for having pretty bad customer support.
Besides, wouldn't you think it's a good idea to actually have multiple places to purchase your products, you know for people who don't want to use two services? That way you're still makin...
I was under the impression that it hadn't really continued in any meaningful way for quite a while. It seems like the franchise is suffering from a case of schizophrenia. It's alright to let a franchise die that has turned into this... It may be sad, but pull the plug it's just going to waste money and tie up potentially good developers. This franchise has long since run it's course.
Haha, yup the more I am here the less I like N4G.
This woman a master at trolling. I can't help but agree with an old lady calling EA games "motherfuckers."
A success, at what? making it so people can't play your god damned games. Using always online DRM isn't "successful" it's intrusive, buggy and when it comes right down to it makes the product suck. But hey, Good for you Ubisoft, it only took you, what? nearly 2 years to perfect it and now people are going to pirate your games more then before because they don't want to pay for a product that doesn't work.
That's actually pretty amazing... And people say the younger generation doesn't give a shit, and here we have people donating money to a cause when people have had the least amount of expendable cash to donate to any cause. Good work, folks!
Nemesis may be fun to play as and his dialogue will be easy to memorize. "Staaaaars..."
I am glad they keep adding to the depth of this series, the characters get better and better each game and the meaning. I am really curious to see where the plot will be taking our character.
Yet it wont, Fanboys are going to rally behind whatever thing they spent their money on and they need to "justify" why it's better. When it comes right down to it, if you're comparing just the hardware, the PC wins... But, it's not that simple, it comes down to not only hardware, but price as well as titles you're interested in. There is no real "winner," it's all about opinion and what you enjoy doing. A console is much more accessible, but limited. Tr...
Yup, i just don't want to get my hopes up is all :-p
Won't that be rather difficult... You know, since we aren't really supposed to talk about Fight Club?
Playing a pirate? Sign me up.
Haha, nice read. I feel like a lot of games just make the achievements so easy they are pointless. "congratulations, you get an achievement for picking up this item that you cannot possibly miss!"
I think timed achievements are my all-time hated type. A development team builds what we hope is a nice looking game for us to take our time and go through, then they attach a time limit to it? Unless you're into speed runs, this is just silly.
