i know, but how on earth would Nintendo waste money choosing a over-powered GPU for its system. You know what, I have source unless you think this developer was lying. The GPU in WiiU has less shaders but HD 5670 has more than double the shaders in PS360, the GPU just have more modern features but less powerful.

The GPU is a HD 4550, maybe at 55nm. Nindendo would not use a HD 5670 level GPU which is too powerful for the CPU and memory, you know what?
Nintendo keep saying that WiiU is an efficient system, how on earth can you be efficient if you use a HD 5670 which will be under utilized by the system, use your brains, kids.

Wii u is less powerful than PS3 and Xbox 360, it has a weaker GPU with less shaders and a less powerful CPU, the only thing it is better is it has more ram which is dirt cheap these days. 2GB of ram cost you $5 or less.
