If your console is marred by crap with the occasional good game, regardless whether there is hype or not, don't you think that means something? If you are going to compare two systems, you should compare them in all facets. Haze and Lair were hyped as PS3 exclusives sure, but since they were based on new concepts, the reviews could go either way. Now you take a game like NG2, which after Sigma and Black should be damn near impossible to break, and you get this. Now that speaks a lot louder th...
Ninja Gaiden is something very special in the action genre. I can't imagine NG2 doing too hot, but it'll be a decent seller. A nice result would be an updated PS3 port, if they could do it with sigma, they can do it here, and I don't see why they wouldn't do it for the extra cash and fan base. Sigma was a damn good game, even if it had slowdowns and loading in the middle of the freaking action, but still. It seems Microsoft is hungry for money, and Itagaki fuels their desire by releasing this...
Personally, I wanted this game to come for the PS3 too. But now, who really cares. They did nothing to improve the story, and the gameplay is identical to sigma, only now you have dismemberment. Even if they polish this up and re-release for PS3, I'd have to think twice about buying. DMC4, from what's been said and shown so far, is far superior, not because it's more fun, but because it gets the basics right. A broken game, no matter how good it is, is still broken. I'm sure later NG2 will be...
looks pretty bland and unexciting. i think capcom already has so many franchises they should just stick to those. also, their new bionic commando game looks like utter garbage. I don't see why they can't put more people on developing RE5 or DMC5 and get those games out quicker. The fanbase is in the millions, so they can expect some serious cash flow from those games. why they waste time on making new games with no real innovation is beyond me
I think you guys are morons saying that DMC4 wasn't good. It was an incredible game with all the action you can ask for and a decent length. The graphics were awesome, the enemies were unique and interesting, the weapons were polished and the bosses were phenomenal. The only problem with DMC4 that I saw was the story was almost non-existent. If they made DMC5 with the same graphics engine, threw in some new modes (Co-Op, more interesting BP, boss battle), gave nero and dante 1 or 2 extra weap...
You guys are nuts. DMC 3: SE was a damn good game indeed, but this one blows it out of the water hands down. Sure you don't have that many weapons and it feels a bit slower. But the animation, graphics, story and sound is way better. The enemies are diverse, not your generic hell sloths or whatever. Bosses are freaking amazing and the devil bringer makes the game hella fun. Plus you get two very different characters (Vergil and dante played similarly in 3), and a decent story with some really...
After something like this, how could you possibly not be pissed @ M$. "Alright...um.....you know how we said HD-DVD players would pave the way for HD content using the x360...well that's was a woopsy on our side...erm". Hmmm, I wonder if PS3 suddenly gained 10 Million in sales, and all multi platform games started looking better on it and most exclusives moved to the PS3, would M$ discontinue the 360...no way you say? But wait, what about the original Xbox? M$ has made its success o...
Over the last while, it's interesting to see that most people keep their Music on Ipods and whatever, making CDs a thing of the past. However, that's mostly because of piracy and not because people would rather buy things online. Saying that digital downloads will be the future is somewhat correct, but it won't be for years to come, mainly because this type of thing will take immense amount of time, due to the requirements. Which are of course: 1) fast connection speeds (look at Japan, they a...
So let's see. For owners of lair, this is kind of nice because now they don't have to throw the controller at the wall because the motion sensing integration is FAIL, but then again, most people who own Lair have already finished it and moved on. Now, if they are hoping to stimulate sales with this patch then maybe they should consider switching to the Douchbag market. When people say "the controls don't work", they expect results very soon...ie. not in a year. Of course it's nice t...
Wow, tax video games? Great, start taxing movies, and after that music CDs, why stop there, let's tax walking on the sidewalk and flirting with women. To facilitate this taxing, they'll probably come up with some B.S. organization to facilitate this B.S. taxation, and those are just extra salaries to be paid. In the end, the money that's going to be collected from video game taxes is mostly going to pay off B.S. administration positions.
Wow, didn't they make this game already and call it NGS? I must agree though, it does look better and better each time we see it, but just look at lunar, it has most of the same damn moves as in Sigma. They took out rolling, which I think was cool, and replaced it with dashing, which I think is retarded. The enemies are pretty cool, but they still attack off screen, which is ghey. This game is just an upscaled NGS with some new levels, weapons and graphics, and I'm sure a lot of people will l...
You know it's a matter of preference, but DMC4 sure as hell does not deserve a 6/10, by any standards. Just by graphics, sound, and design alone it beats out your precious NG2 which looks like a lazy rehash of Sigma's graphical engine and gameplay engine for that matter. Now the ninja gaiden series is fantastic, however it lacks story, it lacks atmosphere (going from awesome ninja village to fighting tanks, gimme a break), and best of all Ryu has no personality what so ever. The only reason y...
There is a very big flaw in the way most people evaluate a purchase such as the PS3. Look at how much the console costs, look at the anticipated lifetime in years, calculate the per year basis, and if you are willing to pay that go for it. The longer you wait, and the longer the price stays rigid, you will be "losing out" on the value forgone during this time. Just my 2 cents.

Hmm...Unless temcho did something drastic like pay off MS to kill their publishing contract (if that's how it works) then this is probably a typo. However, if this is true, this is amazing news and just pure awesome!!!
Cheers
You know what would be awesome? If you guys stopped approving stupid videos with a tiny resolution. You know what else would be awesome? If they released the demo.. But really, the awesomest thing of all would be releasing the game early...some of you fanboys are so full of yourselves and your consoles, that every time you take a s***t you have to come to N4G and tell everyone about it.

It was a poor demo. The weapons are generic, the voice acting is mediocre, the dinosaurs look cool but they just keep coming at you like there's no tomorrow and you don't seem to die. I felt it was almost unplayable at some points, just being dino-rushed constantly. The graphics are on par with any other next-gen game (not uncharted quality, but no game is), sound is poor, weapon is nothing exciting, a person next to me said "what the hell is this crap" during the demo. I played for...
Ha, this is exactly my field of study. Doubt we will see mainstream consumer products for a few years, but certainly it will be something they might incorporate into the next generation of consoles (assuming that will happen in >5 years).

The visuals are awful. X360 version did look better, no chance this is even coming near my PS3. Capcom should make a new Lost Planet for PS3 that doesn't suck and on which they don't have to spend 20 million dollars for advertising.
ciao
Most gamers conscious about their spending habits on games, will undoubtedly only want to buy one or two FPS games for the PS3. The x360 is a different story, it seems shooters are a staple for that platform and regardless of how derivative the game play is, consumers will just gobble up one shooter after the next. PS3 is about games like Ratchet, Uncharted, Heavenly Sword etc. Already, we know that Resistance 2 and Killzone 2 will be hot and have a lot more hype than HAZE. Personally, I'll b...
