At least this one is the complete game...
@Apocalypse
Someone has a single digit IQ. I clearly meant that 2023 only has ONE first party announced game and that is insane for Sony.
@darthv72
What about the fans who parted with their hard earned cash to play real PS5 games and not up-rezed PS4 games?
I was playing ratchet and clank yesterday, the graphical difference between that and GT7 is so vast. I hate this cross-gen BS. Millions of people didn't buy a PS5 to play last gen...
Fox,
The sane ones have been calling it since the start of the PS5 gen.
New Sony is really strange. It’s like watching a car crash in slow motion.
The sad part about it is that Nintendo is stuck releasing the same 4 series over and over again and Xbox can’t even get their flagship series off the ground.
And to see Sony heading into 2023 with only one first party exclusive… It’s kinda sad.
Maybe I’m...
I really want to doubt it. But Sony usually has their games announced AT LEAST one year in advance.
I’d love to be surprised but I’m not setting up myself to be disappointed.
Made me chuckle good one…
Man, Sony.
Sticking to SP games when everyone was moving away from them worked SO WELL during the PS3-PS4 era.
As an SP gamer, this hard turn is really is disappointing.
Once they taste the money of live service there is no going back.
I may be wrong but Spiderman is the only AAA first party PS5 exclusive announced for 2023… 3 years into the generation.
This is weird.
How everyone can ignore the literal screams of fulton enemies, while other enemies nearby 2-3 ft away are somehow immune to hearing someone screaming at the top of their lungs?
That was totally immersion breaking for me and that single aspect made MGSV the worse MGS game for me personally.
They are one of the few companies left that make sure each entry is top class and genre defining.
I have a long cable on my PS5 and I’ll continue playing in like 20 seconds.
The fact that Xbox Series S comes with AA Batteries like a little toy is ridiculous.
Agreed
Wait GTA 5 is at the top of the charts in 2022!? That’s crazy!
I’m not an AC fan, but what’s funny about this is that prior to Origins/Odyssey/Valhalla era all I would see around the internet what “It’s the same game every year, they never change!”
Then when they changed to more open world rpg:
“This isn’t assassin’s creed anymore, we want classic assassin’s creed back!”
@Kyizen
That’s ridiculous. BOTW is the first Zelda game I’ve ever played in my life and its right up there with FF7, Witcher 3 and TLOU as some of the greatest video experiences ever made.
8/10? That’s ridiculous…
*Sequel to one of the highest rated games of the generation.
How ridiculous that people get excited!
Nope. The open structure is what made BOTW special imo.
Yeah. I usually come here for the all round gaming news but lately it’s getting ridiculous.
Anyone know any other all round gaming websites with a neutral community?
Sequel to one of the highest rated games of all time would likely be GOTY. Not “just because its Zelda”
N4G readers you mean…
For me and most of the gaming community I get quite excited when a game is compared to one of the greatest games of the past decade (and contender for the greatest game of all time)
Yeah that’s my same thought. A car crash is the furthest thing from fun.
Was thinking the same thing!
