Too bad we weren't this loud when the necro dropped back in January.
The Necrochasm: the ultimate symbol of how Bungie values its players' time and effort.....
Bit o' both, methinks.
Why keep reading old books when there are new ones being written? Boy, I feel so stupid.
Wish Phil Spencer worked for Sony. I have a feeling he could really shine there.
The reason we get to praise PS4 for what Xbox used to do is that PS4 does it ON TOP of having a huge, diverse library of quality games. Therefore it's not an issue of picking one or the other, as it was last gen.
Xbox perennially makes the mistake of hyping its media focus (Okay) without having more than a handful of quality titles for its GAMING console (not Okay).
lol what was 2005 - the Stone Age?!?
No need to be thick. Tomb Raider was here first.
You think the ability to craft representations of your DREAMS is going to be a "NICHE THING"? Especially once you can share them with the world to experience similar to how YOU did?!?
That's the stuff of ... lol ... Dreams!!!!
EDIT: Not to seem puerile, but if there was something like this with a T or M rating, the content could be so much more meaningful and lasting to vastly more people. But MM with their sackboys and polar bears grumble grumb...
Killzone only lacks in storytelling. The gameplay, gfx, and AI are superb and will remain that way.
They just need new writers. Currently the characters and plots are inexcusably boring for a Sci-Fi Opera.
I run Feedbacks a lot for aesthetics, but they're not that useful. Also in PvP they are ineffective against Blink Strike, rarely firing off at all.
The Order did not live up to hype, but it's not anywhere near a "shallow" game. Fuck off.
inFamous 3: The Return of Cole
XD!@#$^!@#$%@#$^
David and Goliath.
So if there was a grocery store in a free country which started giving 50% off to only Jews or only Aryans, you wouldn't be disgruntled if you were neither? Because you're not forced to shop at that particular store?
*sigh*
"They're not forcing you to do anything"
is the worst argument set forth against issues of injustice, ever.
Also in the details, Bungie considers someone who has a lvl 30 by AUGUST to be at the same veterancy level as someone who was DAY FRIGGIN ONE!
It's not recognizing any mp4's on my usb stick either. I pulled them right off gamersyde, too. Weird.
This is excellent from Sony, but they need to complete the circle from PS3.
We need to be able to put the files on the HDD, and stop with this USB obsession. I know it's about security, but I'm sick of USB juggling. I'm sure they'll work it in, but I bet it's gonna be more months to a year......ugh.
Heavy Rain had challenging combat. Beyond had more predictable, satisfying combat, but suffered from being too easy and having only two difficulty levels. The storytelling was good though. 8/10 for me, woulda been 9/10 if it wasn't so easy.
If I remember the buzz from several years ago, basically, you are able to condition - or *train* - that animal thing to help you get around the world and to deal with foes. You actually lure and call it and place it in certain areas of readiness so that you can platform or escape. It was going to be a complex AI.
As to story, well nobody knows.
Playstation Store is awesome now, when I can get it to open. Half the damn time I have to refresh the wifi connection with a connectivity check for it to even open. But when it does it's great, waaaaay better than PS3 era.
Just wish the Playstation Store deals were under the Store tab instead of clogging up the What's New tab. I'd actually use What's New if it weren't 2/3rds ads covering up what my friends have been up to.....
:(
